“Kapagod naman ang araw nato buti na lang tapos na klase natin” Margot complained.

As we walked down the hallway, she suddenly put her arm around my shoulder.Hence,I was surprised when she suddenly grabbed my neck.

The heck!

“May lagnat ka!” she said out loud kaya itinakwil ko kamay nito,annoying.

“I’m fine ” I said in a low voice.

Sa totoo lang kagabi pa talaga ako tinamaan ng lagnat.

“May drugs ka ba dyan luya? Panigurado ayaw naman nito magpa clinic” concern na sabi niya.

“Bibig mo oy!anong drugs ka dyan” sita ni Ginger sa kanya.

“Medical drugs ang ibig kung sabihin” ahh dami naman alam nito.

“Wala akong dala”

Napabuntong hininga ako.

“I'm fine. kailangan lang ito ng pahinga” Nginitian ko na lang ang mga ito.

Nagpatuloy pa rin ang lakad namin sa hallway at sa hindi inaasahan our eyes met.Suddenly, she stopped us walking when she spoke.

“To my office Henderson” she said calmly,but she was still looking at me.

Hindi ko alam anong dahilan sa biglaan niyang nitong pag command.

“Not now miss”

“It’s an order, Henderson” she said emphatically.

I fought her gaze,until I didn't realize that she was right in front of me.She used her palm to stroke my forehead.

“You're burning up” Sabi niya habang tinitigan ako pababa sa aking labi“come with me, I have medicine in the office” dugtong niyang sabi.

Aayaw pa sana ako pero tinraydor ako nitong dalawa, sinamahan ba naman akong ihatid sa opisina ni Stella.

Komportable akong nakaupo sa couch habang hinihintay siyang bumalik.Ramdam ko na ang panginginig at antok pero pinipigilan ko lang ito, hanggat sa bumalik na siya na may dalang gamot at tubig sa kamay nito.

“You'll feel better once you take your medicine and have a nap” inabot niya sa akin ang baso ng tubig kasunod ang gamot.

She left in front of me and went to her office table, she took something and it turned out na pinahinaan nito ang Aircon.

“Stay here for awhile. I'll be right back” Sabi nito saka lumabas ng opisina.

Gusto ko man din lumabas pero yong katawan at talukap ng aking mata ay sobrang bigat na.

Nagising na lang ako sa haplos,pagdilat ko ay mukha agad ni Stella na tanaw ko.She pursed her lips and shut her eyes saka ito napatayo ng matuwid.

“I was checking on you”she kept stuttering.

I sat properly before facing her “Why did you do this?” I said but she lifted an eyebrow meant for something ‘ Seriously.’

She sighed first.

“Because I care about you”

But I'm still confused.

“I think I need to go. Thank you for your kindness,miss” I stood up,then she quickly grabbed my arm.

Her jaw clenched even her hazel brown eyes makes me weak everytime we stare at each other.Especially,her glossy lip invades me to kiss her.

“You still have a fever, Nyx.Can you stop being so stubborn and let me take care of you.” she almost shouted because of anger .
