Thankfully you didn't have to worry about Helena coming near you again while the others were gone as Odin had warned you both to stay away from each other after your fight, and you don't think she wanted to find herself in the dungeons as he had threatened if you both even thought about looking at each other.
When Helena had tried to protest that you had started it by kissing Loki you had just poked your tongue at her and walked away. It was childish but you didn't care.
Sif had told you that Thor and the others had been sent on some business you did not quite understand and wouldn't be back for months at least. You alternated between wanting to ask why he had left like that and slapping him when you finally saw Loki again. Only twice you allowed yourself to cry to sleep over your stupidity in allowing him to hurt you again. Never again you tried to tell yourself, however that was a lie, you loved him. Though as the days passed your anger over the whole situation grew to the point Loki better have a good excuse as to why he did what he did.
Walking slowly down the halls with Sif a few days after Loki had left she turned to look at you as you brushed your hair back over your shoulder.
"What's that?" Sif asked, pointing to your neck.
"What where?" you said, freaking out it was a spider.
"That." Sif lightly touched it. "It looks like a bruise."
"Oh that...Áedán woke me up by hitting me with a toy this morning." Trying to will the blush away that was no doubt crawling up your face when you realised where she was pointing.
"Uh huh," she said, giving you a look. "I heard you and Loki kissed."
"No we didn't!"
"And I also heard Helena punched you because of said kiss."
"Um...where did you hear that?"
"Thor." Sif smiled.
You felt the colour drain out of your face, there was no way to hide it from her now. Sighing you instead asked what had been playing on your mind for days.
"How could he leave without telling me?"
"He probably didn't mean too, he must have assumed you were still with Eir."
"That's bullshit! He was right next to me." Your eyes widened as you realised what you said, no one apart from Thor and Stiorra knew he was still sleeping in your bed against Frigga's command. "Wait I mean, he knows where the healing rooms are, um."
"Oh really? I thought he was no longer staying in your room." Sif raised an eyebrow in question. "Do tell."
"Uh...well...um...I need to get Áedán to his lessons." Grabbing his hand and trying your best not to run down the hall away from Sif.
"Speaking of, we need to work out what to do these next few months," she yelled after you. Smiling, she watched you walk away.
At dinner that night Sif helped work out a new routine for training. In the mornings she would take Áedán while you either watched or practised with your bow and in the afternoons when Áedán had his lessons you both would train together.
Everything was going fine until about four weeks after they had left and you woke up with a massive headache. Hoping it was just the heat as you neared summer, you got stuck into the day. You were doing well until you were training that afternoon and suddenly found yourself out of breath much quicker than normal.
"What's wrong?" Sif asked when you stopped again, panting trying to catch your breath. "Normally that move doesn't tire you?"
"I'm not sure. I woke up with a bad headache this morning."
