Over the past few weeks you had spent your time at training using a dagger instead and while you were getting starting to get the hang of them you still found a difficulty that you didn't have when holding a sword, so Sif had mixed up training and you alternated between both. Today was the daggers, much to your whining about why you couldn't just stick to training with the sword.

Blocking with one blade you swung the other around to catch Sif off guard. She saw and managed to duck in time twisting to try and unarm you. Noticing, you let go of the dagger dropping to your knees to catch it and rolled out the way. Unfortunately you missed your footing on the way up and tripped falling face first in the dirt, daggers scattering as you let them go.

You heard Sif's sword clatter to the ground as she dropped it and ran over to you.

"You ok?" Sif sounded worried.

"Yep." Rolling onto your back to look at her. "I lost my footing."

"Shit!" Taking one look at your face reaching out a hand. "Here, let's get you over to the benches."

"What's wrong?" you asked worriedly, as you lifted a hand to your face, pulling away your saw blood on your fingers. "Ugh not again," you groaned out frustrated as yet again you've given yourself another nosebleed.

Taking Sif's hand you let her help you up and both walked together to the benches to take a break.

"I think that's enough training for today," she told you. "Want me to get Loki to fix it?"

"I agree." Grabbing a cloth and pinching your nose to try and stop the bleeding. "Nah, it should stop soon."

Loki was watching you from where he and Thor were training Áedán and saw you fall, wincing at the thud you made as you hit the dirt.

"You ok?" Loki called out.

"Yep," you yelled back, somehow dropping the rag and revealing your bloody nose before giving him a thumbs up when he raised an eyebrow in question.

Loki shook his head with a smile, some days you had all the grace of a newborn fawn.

You were getting better with the daggers, however your skills still seemed to lay with a sword and bow. He was both shocked and impressed with how quickly you had learned both considering you were a Midgardian.

'A Midgardian from a different universe,' he reminded himself.

Loki often wondered if maybe there was something hidden within you that your world did not allow to bloom.

"Hey Thor, are you and Sif up for watching Áedán this afternoon?" Turning back to his brother.

Thor stopped and looked up from where he was showing Áedán a move, a questioning look on his face. "Um sure, but can I ask why? Normally a request like that comes from his mother?"

"Normally yes, but I thought I'd ask a favour."

"What do you have planned?" Thor stood and crossed his arms, wincing as Áedán used that moment of distraction to whack him in the shin with his wooden sword.

Loki didn't answer, only turning back to look at you with a smile.

Stepping out of your room after lunch you went to find something for you and Áedán to do only to be met with Thor smiling at you.

"Friðr! There you are! Sif and I were wondering if we could spend the afternoon with Áedán?"
