Loki was pissed. How had everything gone so wrong so quickly. He should have gone to his father straight away but no, he had stayed to make sure you were ok; he couldn't leave you, it was a weakness. To make it worse his father had made it clear he had to marry Helena, maybe his mother could help? He doubted it, Odin's word was final. It was now morning and he still had no idea how he was going to get out of it all.
Picking up another glass from the table he filled it, downing the drink in one go before throwing it across the room in anger. The glass hit the wall shattering into pieces before falling to the floor joining the rest already there.
Pacing in his room Loki tried to work out how he was going to tell you, he had no idea how you would react. If you hated him for not telling you the truth of being unable to get you home...
And stupidly he had accidentally told you how he felt about you. Hopefully the state you were in stopped you from understanding it, Loki doubted that though...he had given you Allspeak.
Distracted by a knock on the door Loki moved to answer it thinking maybe it was Thor who might have an idea on what to do about the situation, instead he found Helena acting innocent and smiling up at him.
"What do you want?"
"I was hoping I could come in and talk to you about what happened last night?"
"Nothing happened last night."
"Your father informed me that you have accepted my father's proposal."
"The marriage is not happening."
"You don't have a choice so accept it. And I was slapped! By that girl! Do you even care?"
"Fine, come in and tell me how you are 'oh so wronged'," Loki responded sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
Helena huffed and brushed past entering the room, Loki just rolled his eyes again and shut the door.

Opening your eyes to see sunlight streaming in through the windows you realise that you must have fallen asleep at some point, bits of pieces of the night slowly coming back to you as you woke; the Ball, slapping Helena, Baldr...Loki! Loki was here in your room. In your bed. You still had your clothes on thankfully, so nothing had happened. He must have come back late and got into bed without waking you.
Rolling over you saw that the other side of the bed was empty causing the smile that was on your face to fall. He hadn't come back. You felt your heart constrict, why did you always do this to yourself. Trying to tell yourself that there must be some reason Loki wasn't here you got out of the bed and got dressed before going to find out why.
Your first stop was to see Thor, Loki had mentioned he was going to talk to his father so Thor might know where to go or at least help you look. Knocking on the door you waited as you heard Thor stumble behind the door. It opened slowly, feeling a twinge of guilt when you took in his appearance, Thor looked like he had been drinking for most of the night and was very hungover. Looking down he looked surprised to see you.
"Oh Lady! Good morning. Everything ok?"
"Morning Thor, I'm sorry to wake you but have you seen Loki at all?"
"The last time I saw him he said he was heading to your room, is he not there with you?" Thor asked you confused, he and Sif had assumed you both had made up from your fight since Loki didn't come back to the Ball either.
"No and it doesn't look like he came back at all."
"Back?!" Thor exclaimed in question, what had his brother done this time. He was too hungover for this. Opening the door wider. "Come in and sit while I get dressed and we will hunt down my wayward brother."
