One cold but bright sunny day after training you heard a knock on your door. Opening it you found Thor on the other side with a beaming smile.
"My lady it is good to see you!" he greeted you. "I know Áedán doesn't have lessons this afternoon so I was wondering if you would join us for a lunchtime meal?"
"Sure! Let me get us both changed and I'll be out soon." You smiled closing the door to find something nice to wear. You hadn't seen Thor in a few days and were looking forward to catching up with your friend.
Once dressed you opened the door to find Thor leaning against the wall opposite, arms crossed in front of him, when he noticed you he pushed himself up, picking up Áedán who had run over to him giggling.
"You look lovely." He smiled at you, extending his arm for you to take.
"Thank you." You blushed at his complement.
"Don't tell my brother I said this, but green suits you."
"Uh...It was the only thing clean I had." Well the only non torn dress you had, but you weren't telling Thor that.
He ended up walking you through the palace and gardens, past the city which was bustling with life, and onto a meadow on the outskirts of a forest. The walk took longer than anticipated because you couldn't help but stop and stare at all the sites within the city, you had never seen anything like it, it was like a mix of a mediaeval village and a futuristic town. You looked longingly at the forest asking Thor if you were able to visit, he only responded with another day.
Arriving where the others were you realised 'us' consisted of Thor, you and Áedán, Sif, the Warriors Three, and Loki which made you do a double take.
"No Helena?" you questioned Thor.
"Nope, I wanted a nice meal away from her so my brother was very strongly told to not bring his paramour."
"She is not my anything!" Loki piped up from the blanket, taking a sip of his drink.
Breathing a sigh of relief that you wouldn't have to deal with her, you sat down between Fandral and Hogun trying to ignore Loki's stare while Áedán asked to sit on Thor's lap, who happily let him, Sif sitting next to them enjoying answering any of his questions and requests, every now and then Thor would tickle your son while Sif blew raspberries on his cheek. Looking at the three of them you couldn't help the smile that crept onto your face, you wondered if these two would end up together like in your myths, they definitely fit together.
Talking with Fandral you discussed what Sif had been teaching you so far, Hogun seemed impressed how well you'd picked up certain skills mentioning how he wanted to join you one day this week to see your improvements.
"I'm getting you back and trying archery again," Fandral commented to you after filling your goblet again.
"Nope! No way!" you exclaimed. "I'll probably just hit myself in the face again."
"How did you manage to hit yourself?" Hogun asked.
"I let go of the wrong part." You shrugged, ignoring Loki's chuckle. He had been at training that same morning when it happened, thankfully he was nice and healed the cut the arrowhead gave you.
"And if I mentioned how I could see you being a master archer?" Fandral suggested.
"Still no." You shook your head.
Fandral pouted at you before looking at Hogun. "See, even my nice words can't sway her."
"Fine," you laughed. "I'll give it one more shot if you teach me, but if I hit myself again no more."
