After Helena's verbal threat of wanting to kill you you hid in your room for a good week before plucking up the courage to leave the safety it gave you. You were just thankful she had no idea exactly where your room was so you were able to at least get some sleep around the nightmares that had come back.

"Morning Sif!" you called out as you turned up to watch the others practice, Áedán was already here from going with Thor earlier. 'Boy's time' was all Thor had said as he picked up your giggling son and walked out the room when you told him you felt ok about leaving your room.

"Hey!" Sif said as she walked towards you. "How's my little niece or nephew?" Sif placed a hand on your bump, now that everyone knew she didn't hold back.

"Getting heavy," you laughed.

"Have you met their father?" Sif teased while you rolled your eyes. "Training today?"

"No, I thought I'd watch you today. I miss training with you, so..." You shrugged.

"I love that you missed me, but there's something you're not telling me?"

"I'm hot, fat and just want to sit," you chuckled. "Can't a girl just be lazy?" You gave her a smile.

"Ok! Ok!" Sif laughed, grabbing your hand. "But you're sitting here, I'm not having your fat arse attempt the stairs."

You laughed as well and let Sif drag you over to a bench near her.

Sitting and watching, your hands resting atop your protruding stomach, you tried to keep your eyes open. Leaning back against the stone wall, the noise from weapons clashing against each other started to lull you into sleep. You had barely slept this past week between the nightmares and the fear that Helena would kill you. Unable to keep your eyes open any longer you let them shut, head dropping forward slightly as you finally fell asleep.

Someone nudged your foot and you startled awake hands protectively splaying across the front of your belly. Looking around to see who it was you were startled by Loki standing in front of you. You both hadn't been near each other since the fight. Thor had told you that Frigga had scolded him severely for what he said but he had yet to apologise to you, wondering if maybe Loki had tried too when you slammed the door closed on him. Not like he had tried to make an effort to see you since that day.

"You're tired," he stated, concern lacing his tone.

"No I'm not, I just closed my eyes against the sun." Putting a hand up to shield your eyes as you looked up at him.

"And fell asleep. Go to your room, it will be more comfortable than the bench."

"I'm happy to sit here with my friends." You tried to look past him at Sif and Fandral sparring.

"What are you not telling me?" Loki crossed his arms.

"Nothing."

"Don't lie to the God of Lies, Darling."

"I'm not!" You looked up at Loki.

"Hmmm," was all Loki responded.

"At least Helena didn't punch me this time."

"Don't change the subject." An edge to his voice, he was hoping she wouldn't try to hurt you again. Her threat had been bad enough and Loki had made sure that you were protected even if you did not want to see him.

"I was just making conversation." You shrugged. "Would you prefer an argument?" you asked sarcastically.

"Why haven't you been practising with the bow lately? You haven't been near the targets in over a week."
