The only good thing about the news of the baby getting out was the fact that Helena refused to be at the table anymore so your meal times were finally peaceful, as well as the fact you and Loki could actually be seen together in public now without causing questions.
Sitting at the table the night after the hunt, and only because you complained to Loki you were starving after spending all day in bed, you tried to ignore Sif as she kept pointing towards your neck loudly asking "ooo what's that" and "haven't seen those in a while." Loki just grinned smugly as you tried to hide your now very obvious blush. Thor was just happy you both weren't fighting anymore.
"Hey Thor, how was the hunt yesterday?" you asked, looking at him, and ignoring Sif's question of "How did the make up session go?"
"You should know you were there?" Thor looked at you confused, he had watched you both enter the forest yesterday.
"Oh I was tired and came back early," you answered, not wanting to tell the others about what actually happened in the forest or after.
Thor just gave you a questioning look before looking at Loki who only nodded in confirmation. "Oh tired. Uh huh." Giving you a nod clearly not believing it, assuming you and Loki made a show of going before sneaking back to your room. "It was unsuccessful, the stag could not be found." Sounds like the day was a disaster.
"That's good to hear," you sighed in relief.
Loki tried not to look at you as you said that, why were you so concerned for the animal's welfare?
"Did you hear what happened?" Hogun spoke up.
"No?" You turned to look at him, question in your voice.
"Baldr was apparently trampled by the stag. It's odd, apparently he didn't hear it coming. He's currently recovering in the healing rooms." Hogun shrugged.
You and Loki turned to look at Hogun speechless, before you burst into laughter. Loki looked at you laughing, wondering how the Stag knew it was Baldr that was after you.

A week and half after the hunt you hit your eighth month. Eir was happy you had made it this far, but did warn you the baby could come any day now considering your size. Honestly you were happy everyone knew about the baby as there was no way you could have hidden your now huge stomach. You swore this kid was gaining a kilo a week and along with that came a new fear - would you be able to deliver this child safely.
Dropping Áedán with Loki for training that morning you decided to test out your new bow while you still felt up to moving. Grabbing some arrows you headed over to the targets to find Fandral already there waiting for you.
"Was wondering when you would turn back up," he said, letting an arrow go.
"Sorry, it's getting harder to move comfortably. Plus you don't need to be here."
"Loki made it clear you weren't to be alone, so I'm here to keep you company." He smiled at you. "What made you decide to make the effort today?"
"I thought I should probably practise with my new bow. Honestly I haven't used it yet."
"New bow?" Fandral walked over to you. "Let me see." You smiled and handed it over for him to inspect. "It's beautiful, just like its owner, Loki did well," he said as he handed it back to you.
"Thanks." You couldn't stop the blush crawling up your face. "Wait Loki? What? How?!"
"We found your old bow and he said he was going to find you a new one. It appears he made one for you instead."
