The few days Frigga mentioned turned into a few weeks.

Trying to keep the news that the baby was here quiet you both didn't leave the safety of your room, at least it meant Loki could still be with you both. Áedán came and spent time with you all when he wasn't at training or lessons, he currently slept elsewhere as when he had tried staying one night he complained over the crying from his brother and asked to be elsewhere. Apart from that little issue it was nice to be in your own little world. Loki loved being a father to both his boys.

Loki woke up to find Rían between you both, laying on your pillow snuggled against your face, both of your palms flat against his back to keep him in position. You must have fallen asleep feeding again, Loki noticed that it was a bit colder that morning, midwinter was definitely here. Reaching he pulled the blanket over you both more to keep you warm; as much as you liked the cold he didn't want you or his son to freeze.

Making sure not to wake you he got out of bed to meet Stiorra before she could knock on the door. Opening it he instead found Thor just about to knock.

"Don't!" Loki whisper yelled, holding out a hand to try and stop his brother.

"Why not?" Thor looked at his brother confused.

Loki checked to make sure you were both still asleep and walked outside, closing the door quietly behind him.

"Because you thunderous oaf, they are both asleep and I would like it to stay like that for a little while longer."

"Oh sorry brother." Thor actually looked guilty. "Loki, you have, um." Pointing to a stain on his shirt.

Loki looked down and sighed before waving his hand and changed into something clean. "What do you want?"

"Helena and her father have requested an audience with father."

"What is she up to now?" Loki brought his hand towards his face running his thumb over his bottom lip in thought.

"There's also a rumour." Thor glanced around to make sure they were definitely alone. Loki raised an eyebrow waiting for Thor to tell him. "That the baby is Fandral's."

Thor looked at his brother watching as an expression of guilt crossed his features before disappearing. It was one of the things Loki had thrown at you in your argument that he regretted, all because Fandral was your friend.

"So word has gotten out that the baby has been born." Loki was annoyed, he had hoped to keep it hidden till his room was ready.

"Yes, but not from us or Stiorra." Thor lifted his arms in a shrug.

"That would mean Helena herself has heard him and she's hoping to try and force my hand." Loki crossed his arms.

"Well it wouldn't be hard, I can hear him from my rooms," Thor chuckled out.

"When is the meeting scheduled?" Loki asked his brother.

"Later this morning." Thor looked back at him wondering what he was planning.

"Tell Fandral to come visit us before the meeting," Loki said grinning.

"What do you have planned?" Thor asked sceptically.

Footsteps sounded in the hall, and Loki looked to find Stiorra walking towards them with a tray.

Loki smiled at her, "Thank you Stiorra, I'll relieve you of that." Reaching for the tray.

You woke up hearing Loki move a plate, the clink of the crockery telling you he had woken before you for once. Rían was still asleep on his side, his fingers clinging to the skin on your cheeks, carefully moving a hand you pried his little ones off your face trying not to wake him. Being successful you left him on your pillow frightened to move him in case he woke.
