"So what's the emergency? Sabi ni Lance, may emergency daw si Anna at sinamahan mo daw siya?" pabalik-balik ang tingin niya sa amin ni Gabriel. "Pero it looks like wala namang emergency. May emergency ba na masaya?"
"Why do you care Alex?" matabang na tanong ni Gabriel.
Sasagot pa sana si Alex pero dumating si Don Miguel.
"There you are." Yumakap siya sa akin.
"Dad! Come on!" biglang sumigaw si Gabriel at bumitaw naman si Don Miguel sa pagkakayakap sa akin.
'Sorry anak.' Ngisi nang matanda. "Kumain na kayo? I'll send you to the restaurant kung hindi pa."
"We're fine, sir." Pormal akong sumagot.
"Don't call me sir, hija. Call me Tito instead. But it's better if you call me dad. I'll be happier if you're his wife." Sabay turo kay Gabriel na bigla namang nagblush.
"No offense meant, Alex." dagdag pa niya.
"None taken SIR." Emphasized ang sir. Hindi siguro ito pinayagan na tumawag ng dad.
"You shouldn't have said that dad." Singit ni Gabriel.
"Why? Am I not allowed to be honest in my company?"
"Pero when you give up the company, pag-iinitan niya si Anna." Naiinis niyang sagot sa ama.
"I highly doubt that son." Sabay kindat sa akin. "And if she does, then you'll have the purpose of having her in your office. It's your responsibility to protect her."

"Call everyone to the conference room." Utos ni Don Miguel kay Gabriel.
"What's up dad?" Lance asked as they entered the room.
"Actually, it's your mom who wants us here." Halatang naiinis siya pero wala naman akong makitang dahilan. Kanina kasi, nung kausap namin siya, okay naman siya. Parang masaya pa nga siya.
So lahat kami, kay Madamé Rebecca. Kami? Yes. Kasama ako. Bakit? I don't know exactly.
"Well, yes. It's me." Panimula ni Madamé Rebecca. "I just wanted to say..." she paused to compose herself. Kitang kita na nanginginig siya dahil sa hindi malaman na dahilan. "Ayokong masira ang marriage nina Alexandra at Gabriel." she finally said with disgust in her tone. "Lalo na kung dahil lang sa isang sekretarya."
She was looking straight at me na ikinagulat ko. Tumingin ako kay Gabriel na halatang nagulat din sa sinasabi ng kanyang ina.
'Stop it mom." Sigaw ni Gabriel. "I've made up my mind. Hihiwalayan ko si Alexandra, sa ayaw at sa gusto n'yo. You can't stop me. Inaayos na nang abogado ko ang papers. Alexandra knows about this."
Alex just frowned and stayed silent. She looks like, she was about to cry.
"Yes." Singit ni Madamé Rebecca. "And it's because you're having an affair with her." Tinuro niya ako.

"Ma, don't do this." Warning ni Lance. As if he knows what's coming.
"Excuse me po? What am I? What did you call me? Sekretarya LANG?"
Tumango si Madamé Rebecca. "You're just a filthy secretary!" madiing sagot ni Madamé Rebecca.
"Really?" tumayo ako at nagpunta sa computer na naka-connect sa isang projector.
"I told you, ma." Sabi ulit ni Lance na tinignan ng masama ng kanyang ina.
