Emma stood before Taehyung, gently adjusting his tie as he prepared for work. Their eyes met, brimming with affection and adoration. A tender smile graced their lips as they gazed at each other, the air tinged with love.

As Taehyung leaned in, their lips met in a passionate kiss, their mouths melding together in a fervent embrace. Lost in each other's sweetness, they savored the moment, unwilling to let go.

"Time's running out, Tae,"

Emma whispered between kisses, a playful smile playing on her lips. Taehyung grinned, reluctant to end the embrace. Despite the urgency, he was content to bask in the love of his wife.

Reluctantly, Emma broke the kiss, feigning annoyance as she lightly punched his arm. Taehyung chuckled, his heart full of love for the woman before him. As he prepared to leave, his phone rang, drawing their attention away from their intimate moment.

A frown creased Taehyung's brow as he glanced at the number flashing on his phone screen—a call from the London branch, where he managed his uncle's business.

"Who is it?"

Emma inquired, her curiosity piqued.

"From the London office,"

Taehyung responded tersely before answering the call. As he spoke on the phone, lines of worry etched themselves onto his forehead, causing Emma's concern to deepen. The atmosphere grew heavy with the weight of Taehyung's troubled voice echoing in the room.

After a tense ten-minute call, Taehyung ended the conversation, his face taut with tension. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he let out a heavy sigh. Emma approached him, gently taking his hand. Her touch seemed to ease his tension, and he closed his eyes, allowing himself a moment of respite.

"What's wrong? Has something happened?"

Emma's voice was steady, though laced with concern.

"A serious issue in London. Someone tampered with important documents and disrupted the accounts department. The COO called me to investigate personally,"

Taehyung explained, his voice heavy with disappointment.

Emma's heart sank at the news, a sense of foreboding washing over her. Despite her apprehension, she pressed on.

"So you have to go?"

Her voice was subdued, reflecting her disappointment. Taehyung reluctantly nodded, the weight of his responsibilities hanging heavily on his shoulders.

Their married life hadn't been easy, marred by constant challenges and obstacles. With each new problem, Emma's hope for a peaceful life with Taehyung seemed to fade further away.

The next day arrived too soon for Emma's liking. As Taehyung got ready to leave for London, both he and Emma knew it was something they didn't want, but he had no choice. Emma's instincts screamed at her, a gut feeling warning her that something was terribly wrong. Thoughts of impending doom swirled in her mind, wrapping around her like a suffocating serpent.

In the living room, Taehyung kissed his mother's head before enveloping her in a tight hug. Mrs. Kim's expression betrayed her worry as she spoke, her words laden with concern.

"Take care, Tae, and come back quickly to solve this problem. My child hasn't had the chance to enjoy his married life,"

she said, her voice tinged with sadness.

"Don't worry, Mom. I'll be back soon,"

Taehyung reassured her, his voice soft but resolute.

He then turned to his father, embracing him tightly before making his way to Emma, who stood with tears glistening in her eyes. She couldn't shake the feeling of dread that gripped her heart, a sense of impending disaster clawing at her soul.
