The jungle had been relentless, its thick foliage and winding paths testing Jungkook and Emma's resolve as they trudged through the dense undergrowth for what felt like hours. But finally, their weary feet carried them to their destination – the penthouse where they would be staying. With a sigh of relief, Jungkook approached the door, only to find it locked.

"Damn it,"

he muttered under his breath, frustration evident in his voice. He glanced around, hoping to spot the caretaker, but the late hour and their lack of phones left them stranded with no means of contact. With a resigned sigh, Jungkook made a decision – they would have to break the lock.

Scanning the ground for a suitable object, Jungkook's eyes fell upon a rock, its rough surface glinting in the moonlight. Without hesitation, he picked it up, the weight of it feeling reassuringly solid in his hand. With a few swift strikes, the lock yielded to his efforts, the sound of metal against metal echoing through the night.

Pushing open the door, Jungkook stepped inside, his tired muscles protesting with each step. He flicked on the lights, illuminating the hall with a warm, yellow glow. With a sigh of relief, he sank down onto the nearest couch, exhaustion washing over him in waves.

Emma followed suit, her eyes scanning the room as she took in their temporary abode. It was modest yet comfortable, with furnishings that spoke of a simple elegance. Despite their fatigue, a sense of gratitude washed over her – they may not have had much, but they had a roof over their heads for the night.

As they sat in silence, the weight of the day's journey settling over them, Jungkook suddenly sprang to his feet, a look of concern crossing his features.

"Damn it, Emma, you must be starving,"

he exclaimed, guilt evident in his voice.

"Let me check if there's anything to eat."

Before Emma could protest, he was off, disappearing into the kitchen with a sense of urgency. Left alone in the dimly lit room, Emma sighed softly, her exhaustion catching up to her as she watched Jungkook's retreating figure.

The dim light of the kitchen cast elongated shadows across the room as Jungkook rummaged through the pantry, his brow furrowed in frustration. Despite his efforts, he found nothing but empty shelves and barren cupboards, a stark reminder of their current predicament. Emma stood silently by the door, watching him

"There's nothing,"

Jungkook muttered, his voice tinged with disappointment as he turned to face Emma.

She met his gaze with a stoic expression, her silence speaking volumes. Jungkook sighed heavily, a sense of defeat weighing heavily on his shoulders as he contemplated their options.

"I think we'll have to sleep on empty stomachs tonight,"

he admitted, his tone resigned as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Tomorrow, I'll ask for some help from the locals."

With a sigh, he returned to Emma's side, a disappointed look on his face.

Out of sudden jungkook remembred something he pushed his hands inside his pants pockets and started searching for something .As he checked his pockets, his fingers brushed against something familiar – a small packet of tablets.

Pulling out the tablets, he extended his hand towards Emma, a hopeful expression on his face. Emma regarded him with a frown, unsure of what he was offering.

"What is this?" she asked, her voice tinged with suspicion.

Jungkook's response was quick, a playful glint in his eyes.
