Emma snapped out of her thoughts as the door creaked open, signaling Jungkook's arrival. With a heavy sigh, she lifted her head from her knees, her eyes blazing with anger as she watched him enter the room.

Jungkook stepped inside cautiously, his heart racing at the sight of Emma sitting on the bed. She looked breathtaking in her white gown, the soft fabric cascading around her like a halo. Despite the fury in her eyes, Jungkook couldn't help but find her utterly captivating, like a fierce yet delicate flower.

As he approached her, Jungkook felt a surge of emotions welling up inside him. He knew he had caused her pain, but seeing her sitting there, so vulnerable yet so strong, stirred something deep within him. She was his little kitten, fierce and independent, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of affection for her, even amidst the turmoil between them.

Jungkook struggled to find the right words as he approached Emma, his heart pounding in his chest. He could sense her tension, her guardedness, and it made it difficult for him to even start a conversation with her. But he knew he had to try if he ever hoped to break through her walls and earn her trust.

Emma's eyes narrowed as Jungkook drew nearer, her grip on her knees tightening with apprehension. She was ready to defend herself if he tried anything.

"You must be tired, Emma. Go change and sleep,"

Jungkook said, his voice laced with genuine concern. But Emma remained silent, her gaze fixed ahead, ignoring his words completely.

With a resigned sigh, Jungkook moved to the other side of the bed, giving her space. He knew it wouldn't be easy to break through her walls, but he was determined to try, one step at a time.

As Jungkook prepared to settle down on the opposite side of the bed, ready to sleep, something suddenly struck him with surprising force. Before he could react, another object collided with him, this time hitting his stomach even harder. Stumbling back in shock, Jungkook glanced down to see a pillow and a phone lying on the ground. Confusion clouded his mind until he looked up to see Emma standing with her hand raised, clutching a vase from the nearby table, her eyes blazing with fury as she prepared to throw it at him.

"Emma, put it down,"

Jungkook urged, his voice tinged with desperation. He didn't fear the vase hitting him; he wanted to talk to her. But Emma only tightened her grip on the vase, her eyes narrowing as he approached the bed, forcing him to retreat.

"How dare you even think that you will be sleeping on the same bed with me,"

Emma spat, her voice seething with anger. She refused to be the same timid Emma anymore. This time, she would stand up for herself and make him pay for his actions.

"Dare to even come closer to me and I will break your skull with this vase,"

she threatened, her tone sharp with venom.

"Be thankful that I let you come inside this bedroom. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even let you stand around me. Go sleep on the couch or the floor. I don't care. But don't think for a second that I'll let you sleep on the same bed. Your mere presence disgusts me, you bastard."

Emma's words hit Jungkook like a sledgehammer. He stared at her in disbelief, never having seen this side of her before. With a nod of his head, he took a step back, retreating to the couch in silent acknowledgment of her anger and determination.

As Jungkook settled onto the couch, the room fell into a heavy silence. His mind buzzed with thoughts of Emma, the woman lying just a few feet away from him on the bed. He knew he had to break through her walls, to make this marriage work. Determination burned within him to show her his love, to prove that he wasn't the man she thought he was.
