Jungkook's point of view

Standing in the adorned church, my heart races with a symphony of emotions. The beauty of the surroundings amplifies the beating in my chest, overwhelmed by the magnitude of this moment.

Happiness engulfs me, a warm glow in my eyes, as I realize that, finally, after all we've been through, I'm about to marry the love of my life. The journey we've taken, the hurdles we've overcome – it all culminates in this sacred space. But along with happiness, there's an undeniable nervousness, an uncertainty about how to navigate this unfamiliar territory.

Nervousness isn't doubt; it's the acknowledgement that this situation is so unusual for me. The vibrant decor, the hushed whispers of anticipation – it's all a bit surreal. My palms are slightly sweaty as I grapple with the unknown, trying to find my footing in this uncharted emotional landscape.

Yet, beneath the happiness and nerves, there's an undercurrent of fear. Not a fear of commitment, but a fear of her reaction. I want everything to be perfect, to see the same joy mirrored in her eyes. The thought of somehow falling short or disappointing her lingers, adding a tinge of apprehension to the mix.

I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself amidst the whirlwind of emotions. The church's beauty, the fragrance of flowers, and the soft melody playing in the background are the backdrop to this pivotal moment. Despite the nerves and fear, I recognize that this is a celebration of love – a love that has weathered storms and now stands resilient, ready to embark on a new journey.

My eyes meticulously scan every corner of the beautifully decorated church, ensuring every detail is perfect, tailored to her liking. From her favorite flowers adorning the space to the menu featuring dishes she loves – I've made sure it's all here. This place holds a special significance; it's where she finds solace in the presence of God, and I've chosen it intentionally for our union.

I want every detail to be a testament to our connection, to bind her to me in this divine place. The church, with its spiritual resonance, becomes the backdrop to our sacred union, witnessed not only by our guests but, more importantly, by God.

As I take in the surroundings, a heaviness settles in my heart. The guests, patiently waiting, only intensify the anticipation. My impatience grows as the moment for her grand entrance approaches. I long to see her, to witness her stepping into this sacred space we've created together.

Checking my wristwatch, I confirm she should have arrived by now. Hope flickers as my eyes shift to the entrance, but there's no sign of her. A certain fear starts to engulf me, my heart pounding erratically. The weight of our impending union coupled with the uncertainty of her arrival intensifies the emotional turmoil within me.

Two hours passed, and the entrance remained void of her presence. My eyes remained fixed, a silent vigil filled with hope. Tears welled up, blurring my vision, as I stood there like a statue. Soft whispers and gasps surrounded me, but I cared little about the speculation. Amidst everything, a small light of hope made me resilient – I knew her, believed her, she would never betray me.

My parents attempted to contact her family, their disappointed faces reflecting my own turmoil. My sister's tear-filled eyes mirrored my pain and hurt. Vision blurred by the tears, I felt like a pitiable object, subject to mockery.

"Jungkook,"

a soft voice cut through my despair.

Namjoon hyung stood before me, his eyes filled with pain as he observed my state. A tear escaped his eye, mirroring the vulnerability he saw in me. He suggested canceling the wedding, fearing the inevitable.

“ Jungkook i think w… we . You should cancel the wedding “

I chuckled softly, responding,

"This wedding won't cancel, Hyung. It will happen. I have complete faith in my love. My heart says she will come. I never prayed before, but now I believe in God's powers. He has to listen to my prayers directly from my heart. She will come, Hyung. She will."

Determination filled my words; no force could separate us. I held steadfast to my faith in love and myself. She would come; there was no doubt in my heart.

Each passing second felt like a burden, each one dragging along as I stared at the entrance, clinging to hope. The disappointment etched on people's faces as their gazes shifted towards me weighed heavily on my soul. Patience crumbled slowly, and with it, my hope waned. The solitary ray of light that had been the pillar of my despairing life was slowly fading into darkness.

Breathing became an arduous task, each inhale and exhale feeling like a laborious effort. An unknown fear coiled in the pit of my stomach. My legs, fatigued from hours of standing in the same place, threatened to give way, leaving me feeling weightless. My head spun vigorously, everything around me a dizzying blur.

As my legs buckled, ready to meet the unforgiving ground, a strong, muscular arm encircled me, preventing the fall. Slowly opening my eyes, I found Jin Hyung standing there, his eyes reflecting concern. He carried my heavy form, gently placing me on a table nearby.

My energy depleted, I felt drained, but the realization that it was my wedding day urged strength back into my weary limbs. Jin Hyung hurried to fetch a glass of water, and upon returning, he stood in front of me, extending his hand.

"Drink this," his voice was firm, yet beneath the sternness, his care for me shone through.

Taking the glass, I raised it to my lips, poised to drink when Neon's voice, filled with surprise and happiness, cut through the heavy air.

"Jungkook,"

the joyous call of my sister echoed, a beacon of happiness in the air.

The glass slipped from my fingers, its descent to the sacred ground accompanied by a cluttered sound. My attention swiftly shifted to where my sister pointed, and in that instant, my breath seemed to cease. Sudden happiness enveloped me, dispelling the weakness that had lingered. All the prayers, all the hopes – it felt as if the divine had answered them all.

A surge of energy propelled me to rise from my place. My feet, seemingly guided by an unseen force, carried me toward the entrance. My eyes, fixated on a singular point, locked onto her. She stood there, a vision of ethereal beauty, an angel sent from heaven, seemingly just for me.

Every step towards her was a deliberate move, each one echoing with the beats of my heart. The atmosphere seemed to shift, charged with a blend of emotions – anticipation, joy, and relief. As I walked, the details around me became a blur, and the only focus was her divine presence.

Finally reaching the entrance, I stood there, taking in the sight of her. She looked breathtaking, a perfect embodiment of love and happiness. The radiance that emanated from her filled the space, dispelling any lingering shadows.

"My Emma,"

the words escaped my lips involuntarily, a whispered acknowledgment of the intense connection we shared. Our eyes met, and in that moment, everything else faded away – the worries, the doubts, replaced by a profound certainty that this was where I was meant to be.
