Jungkook was walking back and forth in the room. He was furious. His jaw was cleaned. His knuckles were fisted deep inside his palm. His veins were popping out of his neck due to stress and frustration. Lia's words were lingering in his mind. It had a huge impact on him. He couldn't believe someone would betray him, and that too someone whom he believed the most trusted. He was trying to believe Lia's words, but his heart was telling him something else. He knows Emma  .  He knows she would never think of going against him, let alone doing it. But he wanted the truth to come out. He wanted to prove Lia wrong and also calm himself.

Everyone was looking at him with terror; they knew it wouldn't take him long to unleash his anger on anyone. 

Jungkook couldn't wait anymore and growled in a high voice. 

"Jimin, get the car." We are going to Emma's house. I want to know if it has something to do with Emma or not.

Jungkook stormed to get out of the room but halted in his tracks when Jin uttered something.

"Jungkook stop!  Do you really think Emma would do something like that? Are you out of your mind? How could you even think that? And about the question, she has not come today. She must have been sick. It might be a coincidence that she got sick just on the day of the meeting. We can't accuse her based on this mere excuse. "Just because some people don't trust her. " 

Jin said while eyeing Lia, who was completely displeased by his words. She didn't want anyone to come between her plan and this person trying to divert Jungkook's mind. 

Jungkook turned his heels and looked at Jin, who was trying to convince him through his eyes. Jungkook took a deep breath and replied.

"I know, Hyung, you're right. I aslo trust her.  I know Aaron can't do something like that. But part of me says that what Lia is saying is true. "It has to do something with Emma, not directly but indirectly."

"What if she forgot where she kept those files?" I think we should go to her place to know the truth. "Everything will be clear only when we go to her place." 

Jungkook reasoned with everyone in the hope that they would buy it. But then Lia spoke.

"I think Jungkook is right; we must go to her place." She is not even answering anyone's calls, which is suspicious. "It wouldn't be this complicated if she would have answered our calls."

Lia again tried to manipulate him. And he was believing in her. She wanted Jungkook to be her puppet and make him dance with the snap of her fingers. She wanted Jungkook all to herself.

This time, Taehyung and J-hope tried to convince Jungkook.

"Jungkook  I think Jin Hyung is right. We are barking up the wrong tree. Instead of doubting Emma, we should try to search everything again.

Lia looked at both of them with indignant eyes; she was shooting daggers through her eyes at both of them. who were coming in between her plan.

Jung sighed and looked at the booth, then spoke.

"Hyung, we have checked everything." Even though we checked the CCTV footage, we found nothing. We have no other option than to go to her house. I also want to believe Emma. But I can't think of anything rationally right now. "My mind is messed."

Jin felt pity for Jungkook; he knew what this project meant to him. He was just burying his emotions just to look tough in front of everyone, but inside he was completely broken. After thinking for a while, they all agreed with him and decided to go to her place.
