Everything had changed in Emma's life; her life was not like before since that day, when Jungkook humiliated her and forbade everyone from talking to her. Not a single person in her office dared to talk to her; no one wanted to get into the bad book of Jungkook. They feared him, and why wouldn't they? He was the boss, after all, and one of the most influential and powerful people in the country. Emma felt a pang in her heart whenever everyone looked at her like she was showing some disgust because of the drama that happened in that meeting.

They all think that she had done it deliberately, and no one even wanted to talk to her for that reason either, apart from Jung Kook's warning. Only Soobin and Joy tried to talk to her even after Jungkook's warning, but the poor soul had to get them away from her because she knew what Jungkook was capable of doing to them. He could destroy their careers with just a snap of his fingers, and she didn't want to do them any harm; they were both precious to her. They were only her friends who really cared for her. How can she put their lives in danger because of her she is no that self concerned. 

Although Jin , jimin , j-hope, Suga would talk to her sometimes but that too only on work related otherwise they didn't converse vey much.  Jin was the sweetest among them; he would always try to make her laugh, seeing her melancholic nature, and sometimes she would laugh along with his jokes, forgetting her Evey misery. He didn't care what Jungkook would do or how he would behave when he found out that he was talking to Emma. Why would he even care? He was the eldest among them, and no one dared question what he did—even Jungkook couldn't say anything whenever he caught Jin talking to Emma in front of him with an expression that said, "Dare to say anything to Emma, and I will see you myself." Jungkook would just ignore them, as he knows that even Jin is the sweetest person on earth, but he will definitely bring the hell on when anyone tries to mess up with him. So he would not say anything, not even scold Emma. Jimin and Hope would sometimes talk to her politely.

But there was a person whose behavior had changed since they got Jungkook's project files in her house, and that person was Taehyung. He was behaving indifferently with her. He wouldn't talk to her properly, and whenever he had to talk to her, he would just taunt or belittle her in front of all the staff, pointing out how she destroyed Jung Kook's meeting because of her carelessness. He would just indirectly insult her in front of everyone to show her her place.

But why was he behaving like that to her? Does he too think that she did everything?

It was lunch time in the office, and everyone was sitting in the cafetaria, their usual places to have lunch, whereas Emma was sitting outside the garden area. This place has become her new companion; these days she doesn't have her lunch in the cafetaria or in her cabin; she always sits here and has her lunch alone, as Jung Kook has ordered everyone in the office not to talk to her.
