Noah and I sat on the black leather love seat, holding hands. We were at my house drinking hot coco; I inhaled the familiar scent of my beautiful home deeply with a smile. My Dad and Jake were in an intense wrestling match on the floor  while my Mother was chatting up a storm with Noah's Mom, Katelynn, as they prepared food. Katelynn was just as breathtakingly beautiful as Noah. She had jet black hair down to her shoulders, and she was petite, which matched her sweet personality perfectly. The only difference between the two was Katelynn's eyes were a deep jade, which made me laugh on the account of my last name, instead of violet, and I was sure he got those from his father but I never had the guts to ask him.

I stared out the frosty  window watching the ivory snowflakes fall graciously to the ground. It was the middle of December and it had been four days since I left the hospital. It seemed I could hear my time just ticking away. I remembered the day I told my family perfectly...

*START OF FLASHBACK*

Jake sat on the rolling chair next to my hospital bed, eating his turkey sandwich as if he'd never eaten before. My father was on the couch reading a book, and my mother was using the restroom. My stomach felt uneasy when i thought of what I was preparing myself to do. I knew my family would not take my wish very well, but they would have to grant it, wouldn't they? My mother walked out of the bathroom and sat next to my father.

"Uh, guys, can I talk to you for a moment?"
