Ch. 1
There
*Niall's POV *
I was sitting in the same hospital chair outside Sean's room for what seemed like years.
Sean's in that room taking his last breathe. It breaks my heart to see him like this, he
looked so weak and broken. He was connected to wires, which were the only things that
were really keeping him alive. It killed me.
The worst part is that Addison would have to go with her dad. Sean married the girl I
fell in love with. I left for tour and came back home to find that Sean and Claire had a little girl
named Addison. She was 4, almost 5 and going into kindergarten. She had blue eyes
that were just like mine, it was almost scary. She was full of energy and loved to sing,
dance and play football (soccer).
She was so sweet and kind and loved to hang out with me, Claire and Sean. It broke
my heart to see my best friend married the girl I loved.
I walked into the room and saw Sean weak and barely able to move. We sat there and
talked for a little while. I asked where Claire was, to what he replied that he had to pick Addie up from
school.
"Will you go ask the nurse if she could get me a glass of water?
"Of course"
As I walk put of the room I ran into something and hit my head, I felt dizzy for a
second but I soon got my vision back just to looked straight into some brown eyes which
belonged to Claire. Claire looked pretty amazing for rushing here right after work and
grabbing Addie from school. I have to admit I still loved her, she was my love, the girl I
would jump in front of a bullet and die for. But she was married to Sean and had the
cutest little girl I have ever seen, if only Addie was mine and Claire's and not Sean's. I
have to be happy for him even if it killed me.
The next thing I know, there is a tug on my pants and I see
Addie on my leg.
"Hey! Addie, how are you sweet heart?"
"I'm great Niall, today at school me and lacy were princesses!"
"I thought you already were a princes-"
"Umm...Niall can you watch Addie while me and Sean talk to the doctor?"
"Sure, I love spending time with Addie!"
"Addie do you want to watch a movie on my phone?"
"Yes!!" She screams in a high pitch voice
"Ok which one princess?"
"Ummm...I want.....this one," she says pointing to the one with a princess in a pink
dress.
"Ok, Sleeping Beauty it is"
I watched Addie for a couple hours, Claire and Sean just had a lot to talk about.
Addie had already fallen asleep on my shoulder...
