Meeting The Team

Dear Diary,

So we got off the bus in this weird order. I was able to memorize the order and I've written it down below.

The hosts announced the teams, the first seven on the list being the purple team, and me with the last seven including me on the teal team. Fiore turned out to be the girl staring at the guy on the bus, whose name is Alec. 

The hosts mentioned each other's names, being Trevor and Derek, while welcoming us to the camp. But then, after a couple of people on purple team talked about the cabin they were going to have, Derek revealed to us that the rumors were FALSE, that there ISN'T ANY CABINS! My team was ESPECIALLY furious, even me, though I didn't mention it to anyone. Derek told us that we would have several materials to look out for ourselves. At least a tent will keep us away from the rain, well, mostly. We're also gonna get rewards if we win a challenge, which sounds awesome to me, but childish.

The guy with the mask, Tom, got our team map and we headed off following him. I noticed all the members of my team's names were Dan, Grett, Tom, Jake, Fiore, and Miriam. I already discussed Fiore and Tom. Fiore is the 6 or 7 year old girl, and Tom is the guy with the mask on. Dan CLEARLY loves purple, his outfit says so itself. Grett was wearing a yellow...jumpsuit, is it? I'm not 100% sure on that. But, she looked very confident walking to camp! Miriam was an old lady, with a big suitcase, and Jake wore a jacket with a skeleton, and had sort of blue hair? It's a very dark blue. 

During our walk, Jake asked if he could have the map, and Tom gave it to him before stepping behind Dan. Miriam asked Jake how long we have left before ww arrived at camp. He replied and he offered to take her luggage but she sounded pretty rude to him. Then, Dan asked the question everyone has probably been waiting to ask Tom, well, not exactly what we thought. He asked why he was 'dressed like that' which, I don't even understand that question myself. Miriam made another rude comment, which was confusing to me because I wondered what happened for her to be that way. Apparently it looks like Tom is sensitive to the sun, but I think there's more to that. He hesitated when he said that, which made me suspicious.

He asked what Fiore's name was, and she responded. Grett asked what she was doing there, which I'm going to be honest, everyone has had to be thinking of that if they weren't thinking about why Tom was wearing a mask. Poor Fiore has such cruel parents, but when she asked me what my name was, I wrote my response with a smile, as a way to have hopefully made her feel better. I didn't mind her mentioning that I wasn't a talker, because I hate admitting that myself.

A few minutes later, we finally arrived at camp. That walk was a long one! Within ten minutes, Tom and Jake had a fire done, and Fiore was surprised at how good Tom was at this survivalist stuff, but that seemed suspicious to me as well. I asked Fiore if she thought Tom was a bit suspicious and she admitted so, but didn't really want to discuss it any further. So, I observed him a bit myself in our team's tent, and it's been like he's been looking in every direction every five seconds.

Oh! The hosts just announced the challenge! I have to go back to my team, diary, but I'll see you afterwards!
