The Day After Departure

Dear Diary,

What an experience this has been. It's been an honor to be a contestant on Disventure Camp and being able to write about my experience along the way. Many things have changed during that time, and I learned a lot of new things that I've taken home with me starting yesterday morning.

School doesn't start for another month, so I'll be using this remainder of time to volunteer and give back even if the million dollars isn't mine. Helping out my community is truly the best way I can communicate with people, something I learned on the show.

I'll leave this final part short, because life is suddenly slow again. Maybe someday I am able to reunite with the cast and return to the camp where we all first met. But for now, I leave with this: Despite our differences and needs and wants, we are all people. We learn something new every day, and Disventure Camp is certainly not an exception. We should give back to our communities, even if we don't have much, and we should make sure our lives stay perfectly timed, not too fast, or too slow.

Signing off for the last time,

Your friend,

Drew
