Dear Diary,
I have this weird feeling. The next eliminated contestant will be worse than Nick. I knew we had to enjoy this calm atmosphere while it lasted. We decided to help the motel staff clean up breakfast since they were still shaken up from whoever yelled last night. Dan and I got everyone to enter our room to play card games. We looked up some and the rules and played those for about five hours until it was already 4:30 and we decided to try out some video games and teach everyone else. Lill and Nick played one or two with us before, and they were still getting used to it. Ashley has played games before Disventure Camp, but she usually didn't have time due to her work on the farm. Will, however, was an expert at these games like me and Dan were. We ended up spending the rest of the game playing games until, one by one, every last one of us were asleep.
Then came day 17, and we all woke up to a really huge buffet from the motel staff, thanking us for our help to them the day before. Like I've said before, sure these motel staff are more unusual than normal, but at least they have good hearts. Those guys were meant to be hotel staff, but I guess this works, too. Anyways, all six of us enjoyed our surprise breakfast before we decided to separate for the day. Nick and Lill went to the coffee shop, Will and Ashley went outside, and Dan and I went to our room to play video games, of course! And also try some card games we learned the day before. That was pretty much all of day 17.
Finally, day 18. Tonight, the new camper will arrive. We had our usual breakfast and hung out with the motel staff until it was time for lunch, something all six of us were to distracted to have the past two days. At this rate, we had forgotten that there was supposed to be a seventh person with us already, but no one knew where they were. After lunch, we all headed outside for a little air and we even found a fresh and shiny ball for us to play with. I haven't been able to do that in about three years. It was fun getting to get a little...nostalgia, is it? Well, we stayed out there until dinner, and afterwards, we knew we had to look out for the new camper, something we should've done last time. We headed to Lill and Nick's room, Lill and Will switching rooms since the last time we were here, when Dan was eliminated. I figured Will and Ashley decided to expand their friendship to something more, as I saw a spark in them. I saw them looking at each other lovingly when all of a sudden, a bus came. However, you'll have to wait and see who's out, diary, because I am going to see this moment in person myself.
Your friend,
Drew
