chapter 8

I had one more class after lunch then got ready to head home. I went to the library first to get Dragedge. On my way there I started to stagger a little. Someone caught me. I looked up and noticed Victor, Dragedges current love interest for the last few years and the new school nurse.

"Are you ok?" He asked, helping me steady myself.

"Yeah. just tired and a little dizzy. Thank you though." I answered.

"Do you want me to use some healing magic?"

"Sure."

He put his hand on my shoulder. I felt a wave of warmth wash over me and I started to feel a little bit better.

"Thanks." I said.

"Not a problem, just be careful." He responded.

I nodded and made my way to the library. Dragedge was working on putting some books in the system. He looked up and had a concerned look on his face.

"Are you sure you're ok? You look like death. Pun intended." He said

I laughed.

"I am not so sure. Victor helped but for some reason I am still light headed." I responded.

"Maybe you are getting sick."

"Maybe. Are you ready to head out?"

"In a minute. I think your dad was looking for you."

"Of course he was. I will be back."

I walked into the office to see my father, Spirit and the kids.

"Good, you were able to make it." My father started.

"What's up?" I said, sitting down.

"You don't look good at all." Kid said concerned.

"I will be fine." I reassured.

"We got word of a strong kishin sighting." My father stated.

"Where? We should take care of it now." Maka spoke up.

"Not just yet this one is abnormally strong."

"How long do we wait?" I asked.

"A few days. But I want you and Dragedge to go with the others and try to stop him. He may have more kishins teamed up with him but we are not sure. This also gives you a few days to rest and hopefully feel better. In the meantime we will find exactly where the kishin is located and how strong it is. For now head home and enjoy the weekend. Come to the school on Monday as normal and we will go from there."

"I think we should act sooner, but ok we can wait till monday. Also would you guys like to join me and Soul in the city tomorrow. I would like to talk to you and Dragedge some more." Maka suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Tsubaki and Kid said.

"Count us in." Liz and Patty said.

"Don't forget about the best." black star added.

"I am good with it and if I feel better. I am sure Dragedge will be fine with joining." I said.

"We will see you all tomorrow." maka said.

I began to get up when all of a sudden I felt my legs give out and the room started spinning. 'Crap' I thought to myself as I fell to the floor.

( the meeting had ended. As she was getting up Grim paused for a second before falling to the floor. Death shot out of his seat.

"Spirit take her to the nurses office and Kid go get Dragedge." He ordered.

Spirit and Kid nodded. Spirit gently picked up Grim and went running to the nurse's office. Kid took off running to the library to get Dragedge. He stood in the doorway trying to catch his breath.

"Kid? Is everything ok?" Dragedge asked, confused.

"Grim passed out," He answered.

The two went running to the nurses and found grim in one of the beds.

"Is she going to be ok?" Dragedge asked.

"She is going to be fine but needs rest." Victor answered.)

I woke up not much later in the nurse's office, My head pounding.

"You are definitely sick. Dragedge is going to take you home. Here is some medication I did use some more magic on you. Take the rest of the day to relax. Don't go out tomorrow if you feel better the next day you can probably go out.'' Victor said.

"We can push the trip back a day." Maka said.

Dragedge gave me a look of 'I told you so'. We headed to the house.

On the walk home. Dragedge looked like he had something on his mind.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"I was talking with Victor. He said he had been in town for almost two months but was waiting for some paperwork to go through before heading to the school. He has been staying at a hotel. I was trying to figure out the best way to ask if he can stay with us? He said he is ok with paying rent and whatever rules we have." he said.

"I have no problems with that if you have no issues with Hatori staying if he ever comes back." I responded.

"I am good with that. You ok if we stop by the hotel on the way and i can let Victor know he can stay?"

"Sure."

We made the detour to give him the news. He said he will be at the house tomorrow and work out moving his belongings.
