chapter 30

I was struggling to keep the barrier up but knew I had to keep trying. We were able to push them back, all three of them. I saw an arm fly off of the one, as the students were using the chance to attack them. I got distracted watching the children, making sure they were ok, almost not noticing the fist shaped rock come flying at me hitting me hard. I could feel my back and head hitting a nearby wall knocking the wind out of me. I could barely move.

“GRIM!!!” Kid yelled.

Patty gasped as the other students watched. Watching the events Hatori and his siblings were able to fend off some more of the witch's attacks with the help of the others. Hatori watched in fear as he couldn't do much.

“I guess we can help you out this once.” Haruka sneered standing on the edge of a roof, blood dripping on his forehead. Hatori looked up at him, gripping a bow tightly.

“You guys take care of those ones over there.” Hatori ordered pointing.

Haruka and Akira scoffed as they went off with their meisters.

“Hatori go help her I got things here.” Victor stated, helping dragedge up.

He nodded. 

“They got those ones. Maka you and Soul help those students over there. Black Star, Tsubaki you two are with me, let’s go.” Hatori instructed.

“Right.” They acknowledged in unison and went off.

 “Sis! Are you ok?” Kid worried, kneeling next to me.

I nodded no. I was struggling to see and breath, and could feel blood dripping down my face.

‘Why can’t I move?’ I thought to myself.

“We need to get you to Victor.” He said, his eyes glistening over.

We noticed the other students taking charge in attacking as best they could. Suddenly an arrow and shuriken came out of nowhere. I was able to slowly move seeing Hatori and Black Star. 

“Hey ugly over here!” Black Star called Tsubaki was a sword  this time, chopping one down.

“You guys are no fun. I want to join in too.” The witch said, frowning.

“I can help with that.” Maka called out swinging her scythe. 

“Remember be careful.” Soul reminded her.

“I know.” She responded.

Other students joined in attacking with their various weapons as well.

“This is going to be fun.” 

She flew towards them on her broom. The fighting continued, the witch effortlessly dodging all of them. They were struggling to get a hit in. At some point during the fight the witch got a call on her weird device.

“Sis, where are you?” A voice said from the other side.

“Hey Lev. I am by the city with the ones who killed our lovelies.” She responded cheerfully.

“Leave them come home.” 

“But….”

“Don’t argue with me.” 

“Fine…”

“You all got lucky.” She pouted looking at everyone.

She flew away and the rock creatures melted.

Letting out a sigh of relief and confusion everyone watched her fly away. Hatori felt a tug on his sleeve.

“Grim needs help again.” Kid mentioned quietly pointing to me.
