chapter 11: Two Men With Two Souls

There they were, Ruby, Nora, Ren, Jaune, Pyrrha, V and Johnny were looking at Oscar, as he told them a dead man's name.

"Did he age backwards?" Nora said.

"He's possessed!" Jaune said.

"Or reincarnated!" Ren added.

"I don't get it?" Pyrrha said.

"There's no way for a kid, let alone a person in remnant to have chrome," V said.

"Now you got my eye kid," Johnny said.

"Oh! Isn't it weird?" Ruby said.

"It is very weird, yes," Oscar admitted.

"Okay, okay," Qrow as he emerged from the kitchen holding a cup in his hand, seemingly cured from the alcohol. "Let's all just take a second and remember that this is very overwhelming for everyone."

Soon Ruby, Jaune, Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha all step back together and nervously chuckle, while V and Johnny stand there.

"Thanks, "Oscar said in gratitude to Qrow.

Qrow then took a seat on the couch next to Oscar, Ruby and Nora took a seat on the couch perpendicular to Qrow's, while Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, V, and Johnny remained standing.
Oscar then shared a brief look with Ruby, who giggled, causing Oscar to blush.

"Ah, sorry!" Oscar said as he quickly looked away. "It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before."

"It's alright, we've already met a person with two souls! So it's not hard for us," Ruby assured.

"what?" Oscar said, confused.

"Right here" V said, pointing at himself and Johnny.

"We share the same body," Johnny clarified.

Oscar's eyes widened in surprise as he tried to process the revelation, before he heard Qrow clear his throat to get back to the topic.

"Not to break up the whole 'getting-to-know-you' game, but we need to have a talk. Mind showing us your little parlor trick, kid?" he assured him.

Oscar groaned at it, "Yeah, okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here."

Oscar then lowered his head, his eyes closed, before a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing for a moment, and he smiles. When he spoke, Ozpin's voice followed it.

"It is so very good to see you again, students," Ozpin said.

Soon everyone minus Qrow, V and Johnny were in disbelief to hear a forgotten ally.

"Wait, did you... switch souls?" Jaune asked, in confusion.

"Professor... Ozpin?" Ren asked.

"Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak," Ospin said.

"Just like me and V," Johnny said.

Ozpin looked at Johnny for a sec, not recognizing him till he noticed Johnny's iconic silver arm.

"ah, Johnny, I see you and V were able to give you your own vessel," Ozpin said.

"Actually, I'm still a digital copy of my former self," Johnny clarified.

Ozpin nodded in understanding, then turned back to the group.

"I'm sure this must be less perplexing than I was expecting," Opzin said.

"And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall!" Nora clarified.

Ozpin chuckled at Nora's words. "It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor." his smile then fell to a frown as he soon got serious. "I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry."
