Karina POV

I was running through the school halls, trying to get to Kai as quickly as possible. His gift was sweet, but he shouldn't have given it to me. Even though we were somewhat close, he needed to give this to someone who loved him. And that someone wasn't me.

I suddenly saw Kai leave the dojo, a slight bruise on his face accompanied by a large frown. "Oh, Karina." He said as he saw me. "Hey, I... I need to tell you something." I spoke. "It's... It's nothing. I'll catch up with you later." He said before abruptly brushing past me and running off. 'What just happened? Earlier, he's pouring his heart out, and now he's shoving past me in a fit of rage?' I thought as I saw him run up the stairs.

When I turned around, I saw Y/N come out of the room Kai came from. "Y/N?" I asked. When he turned around to face me, his confusion was obvious, but I was paying more attention to the bloody nose he had. "Karina?" He asked. "Oh my gosh, what happened?" I said as I ran to him. "Kai got a little cocky when I decided to pay a visit to my old friends in the Martial Arts club. When I got there, he implied that he could beat me in a fight, we fought, I shat on him, he did a dirty move and kicked me in the nose when I wasn't looking. Sensei kicked him out of the dojo, and here we are." He explained.

"No offense, but your boyfriend's kind of an egotistical asshat. You could do a lot better than him." He spoke. "He's not my boyfriend." I spoke. "I don't know. That cafeteria moment looked like Romeo and Juliet to me." "Whatever. Are you okay?" I asked with concern. "Peachy." He spoke. "Your nose says otherwise." I retorted. "I'll be fine." He tried to turn around, but I grabbed him and pulled him close. We were close enough to feel the other's breath on their face and I started to get lost in his eyes.

"So, do we kiss now?" He joked. I felt my face turn red and lightly slapped his arm.

"Shut up and go to the nurse."

Y/N POV

All nine of the boys were at the mall to get gifts for each other. It was tradition for all of them to exclusively give each other good or bad gifts, depending on what the wheel landed on when they spun it. But right now, we were deciding who would get the bad gifts or the good gifts. And first up, was Hyunjin, since he started this tradition in the first place, back when Jin and Jeon were still here. Han opened his laptop to spin the wheel, but was met with something else.

"Hey! Ever tried Jerkm-"

The table was filled with laughter as Han immediately closed his laptop and quickly put it back in his bag. "This right here is why we ALWAYS close our tabs." I said before Changbin reached in his bag and got his laptop. "Listen, we don't talk about it." Han spoke. I just patted his should before telling him to pray the group chat didn't get leaked.

"Place your bets down." Changbin joked as he opened the tab for the wheel and put 16 options. 8 of them said good gift and the other 8 said bad gift. It was more intense this way, rather than just 2 options. The wheel spun and landed on a good gift for Hyunjin. "How come, for the past 5 years, he's always gotten a good gift? He's doing something, I swear he is." Han spoke. "Don't hate the player, hate the game." Hyunjin defended.

"Now you Y/N!" Seungmin spoke. "ME???" I said, throwing my hands in the air. "Yeah, you. So we can all get you bad gifts." Bang Chan spoke as Changbin spun the wheel and it once again, landed on the good gift. "Oooohhh, Lucky this time Y/n." Felix spoke. "Thank god. By the way, you guys are gonna have to text me what kind of gift to get you. I gotta go get Haerin's gift." I spoke as I stood up. "Alright." Han said before looking back at the wheel spinning to decide his gift. As I ran, I heard him getting mad because he got a bad gift, again.
