Kai wildly swung the machete at me, but I quickly dodged and kicked him back. Despite being free from the restraints, I still had two bullet holes and major burns on my body. This would be anything but easy.
"Still got a little fight left in you huh? Well, we can fix that." Kai said as he got back up. "We?" I asked. Suddenly, around twelve paid thugs came into the warehouse, all of them having guns. Suddenly, Kai's father emerged from the crowd of men. "Y/n, it is a shame this happened the way it did. Unfortunately, that Yuqi girl just couldn't sweep you off your feet quick enough." He spoke.
"You set me up?" I asked with narrowed eyebrows. "Don't blame the girl. We just had to threaten her friends a little bit. But, unfortunately, she fell for you instead of the other way around. Then she cheated on you, and it was a clusterfuck from there. But now, we must kill you. Sorry son, but if this is the way my son is happy, then so be it." He said before nodding to the gunmen.
In an instant, the sound of gunfire filled the warehouse and I barely managed to duck behind the stand Kai kept the weapons on. I pulled the tray the weapons were on off of it and looked at them.

"This will do nicely" I said as I grabbed one of the knives. The gunfire stopped and I heard footsteps getting closer and closer. I tightly clutched the knife and the moment the thug reared his ugly head, I quickly slit his throat.
I quickly took his AK and activated deadeye. I quickly marked the other eleven thugs before opening fire.
All of the thugs dropped dead, including Kai's father. A stray bullet must've got him. Kai, in a fit of rage, threw the machete at me. I narrowly dodged it, but he quickly closed the distance and knocked the karambit out of my hands before punching me in my wound.
He quickly dived for the weapons and threw the hachet at me. I narrowly managed to dodge it and grabbed the karambit again, while he grabbed the knife with the spiked edge.
"You don't want to do this Kai, it'll be the biggest mistake of your life." I said as I circled the karambit around my finger. "I don't care. You fucked my girl." He said as he clutched the knife even harder and charged at me.
He tried to stab me, but I dodged and slashed at his arm. He dodged and kicked at my foot. I stepped back and tried to stab at his eye and landed a cut on his eyebrow, but he quickly turned around and kicked me away. I ran at him and threw my knife at his, disarming the both of us.
In his distraction at losing his weapon, I drop kicked him right in the chest. He was sent back and landed up against the entrance to the room. I quickly ran at him and kicked him in the face before grabbing him by the collar, picking him up to stand on his legs, and punching him relentlessly.
He managed to not only punch my burn again, he also kicked my leg from up under me before kicking me in the chest.
My eyes were partially blurry, but I saw him open the door and run through it, screaming bloody murder.
