Kang Y/n: Missing

Y/n POV

When the machine was finally taken off my head, I got slapped in the face with hunger, thirst, and the need to use the bathroom.

"Whoa, guess that Kai kid wasn't kidding about that machine being a prototype." Micah said as he looked at the device in his head before sitting it down. "Kid, you don't know how hard it's been for me trying to feed and hydrate you. AND clean up the mess you made with your blood when I shot you." Micah said as he sat down. "What?" I asked.

"It's been like a week, since I put that on your head. It took a fucking week for you to experience the events of one day!" Micah said angrily. 

"...Karina..." I whispered, thinking about how torn up she must've felt when she realized I wasn't with her.

"Y'know, I haven't heard a thank you, despite me going through hell trying to keep you alive." Micah said. "Well, you wouldn't have had to if you didn't kidnap me in the first place!" I clapped back. 

He immediately punched me multiple times in my abdomen when I finished speaking. "Ungrateful shit!" He yelled as he punched me one more time, this time in the face.

"Now, as punishment, I'm gonna make a little video." Micah said before he went to get a camera. "What? Like that wasn't a punishment?" I said, out of breath from the punches. I saw him appear from the darkness again, holding a camera.

A few minutes later

"Alright, got the recording. Do you think your family and friends will be torn up inside if they see this?" Micah spoke. "You wouldn't dare!" I said as I tried to tear through my restraints, but to no avail. "You should know me well enough to know that I damn well would dare." Micah said before he walked over to me and hit me in the face with the handle of his gun.

Narrator POV

Both Karina and Haerin had to be calmed down multiple times. Luckily, they'd been discharged after just a couple of days, but Y/n was still nowhere to be found. And given Micah's track record, they were more likely to find him in a body bag, assuming they found him at all.

Everyone was staying at another nearby resort, with much more security since the local police didn't want to risk another bomb attack by Micah if they were driving home. Car accidents could be much deadlier than home invasions, especially if it happened on a bridge and the suspect was known to carry explosives.

Karina was sitting on the couch, legs sitting criss-cross, tightly clutching onto the necklace Y/n had given her. The picture of the two of them when they met all those years ago.

Suddenly, a knock could be heard on the door. Karina immediately tensed up, thinking the same guy who took Y/n was here to take everyone else too. Hyunjin and Felix immediately came out of their room when they heard the knock, each holding a baseball bat.

Hyunjin hesitantly looked through the peephole, and his eyes widened upon seeing who it was. He quickly dropped the bat and opened the door. It was Rose. 

"I heard about what happened!" Rose said as she stepped into the resort. Karina immediately ran to hug her when she realized it was her. "Shhh, it's okay." Rose said as she tried to calm a hopeless Karina.

"He... H-He took Y/n." Karina said as she looked up at Rose with tears trickling down her face. Rose pulled her into another hug to comfort her.

"What's she talking about?" She asked Hyunjin. "Some guy snuck into our old resort and planted bombs while we were out. When we got back, he blew it to hell. He saved Y/n from the wreckage, but he loaded him into a van and drove off somewhere. Police ID'd him as some criminal named Micah Bell." Hyunjin explained.

"Jennie and Jisoo are at the precinct to see if they've gotten anything since it happened. Lisa's on the way too." She spoke.

Suddenly, another knock was heard at the door. This time, everyone else came out of their rooms to see who it was. And when Felix opened it, there stood Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa.

"Did you learn anything?" Rose said as she turned to face them, letting go of Karina who went to hug them. "When we got there, they were gearing up to go out and find him." Jisoo said as she hugged Karina. "They found him?!" Karina said as her eyes lit up. "I don't know. They didn't give me any details. I just heard them say to lockdown every warehouse in town and go to any warehouse that isn't locked down. And an officer gave me this." Jisoo said as she reached in her purse and pulled out a tape.

"The officer did advise us against watching it, bu-" "If it gives me a clue to Y/n, I'm watching it." Karina cut Jennie off.

Jennie handed the tape to Lisa and she put it into the machine next to the TV. In seconds, the TV went from static to showing a blond man in a dark room.

"Is this thing on? Ah, there we go." He said as he angled the camera. "Now, lovely police officers of this lovely town, you probably think that you can trace this back to me. But, you won't. The moment this recording is over, me and my crew will be relocating to another warehouse." The man said.

"Oh, where are my manners? Forgive me for being rude, my name is Micah..." He stopped and aimed the camera at a chained-up Y/n who was bloody, bruised and covered in cuts and had a small hole in his mid-section. Karina had to cover her mouth to hold in her scream at seeing his condition, and Haerin started to cry even more at seeing her brother like that. "... And this is my good friend Y/n." Micah said. "Say hello to everyone Y/n!' Micah said. Y/n slowly looked up at him and spit blood at him.

"That's not NICE Y/N!" Micah said as he drew his side-arm and shot Y/n in the stomach. Haerin had to be ushered away by Hanni, Minji, and Lisa since they all agreed that she shouldn't see her brother like that. They took her to her bedroom and stayed with her to comfort her. Winter, Giselle, and Ningning tried to take Karina to her room, but she insisted on staying.

"Fuck off!" Y/n yelled at the man. "Y'know, on top of you not introducing yourself, you also never thanked me for saving your life. That explosion and cave-in could've killed you." Micah said. "Why would I thank you? You caused the damn cave-in!" Y/n clapped back. Micah then shoved his thumb right in the hole in Y/n's stomach, made by the bullet.

"Thank me... NOW!" He said as he kept wiggling his finger, making Y/n wheeze and grunt even louder. 

After 10 painful seconds, Micah finally took his finger out. "You're tough kid, I can respect that." He spoke. "But what if I paid Haerin and Karina a visit?" The man said. Y/n quickly lunged at Micah the moment he mentioned their names, but his restraints stopped him once again.
"I bet Cleet and Joe would have the time of their lives with two beautiful girls like them." He said. 

Y/n looked at him with rage-filled eyes. "I'm gonna kill you!" He spoke. "You know what? I'll give you the option. Choose who to save, and who will join you down here. Sister or girlfriend?" Micah said. "I swear I'm gonna kill you!" Y/n yelled as he tried to dislocate his thumbs to free himself, but to no avail. "Either you choose who's gonna come down here with you. Or you thank me. Your choice." Micah said. 

"... Thank you... Micah." Y/n said as he hung his head. "See, was that so hard?" Micah asked. He then turned the camera back to himself.

"To whoever's watching this: It's been real, but I gotta go. Kid's bleeding all over the floor and that's a slipping hazard." The man said before the camera shut off.

Karina broke down and fell to her knees, crying her eyes out at what she saw. Everyone else wasn't too far behind and were damn close to crying enough tears for a lake.

"Jisoo, you said they were gearing up to go right?" Rose suddenly spoke. Jisoo nodded. "Maybe they found him, maybe he's alright." Rose suggested. "Those are all maybes." Karina said, her voice breaking as she finished. Rose helped her up and pulled her into another hug that she returned.

"Y/n's strong Karina. Strong enough to hold out until they find him. Just, have hope. Have some faith. He'll be okay."
