Meeting Yuqi

No one's POV

"That damn Y/n, alwa- AH!" Kai began but winced from the pain. "Sorry," Karina said as she was the one who messed up the stitch. "Not your fault. It's Y/N's." "Can you stop?! You've been rambling about him forever. What's your problem with him?" She suddenly spoke. "He's a fucking criminal! That's my problem with him! You don't think it's odd that he was found spontaneously after the ferry in that town got robbed?" He asked.

"The Blackwater incident? Do you think he could be with a gang of cold-hearted criminals while on a deserted island? That's ridiculous." She spoke. "What's ridiculous is that he apparently survived, accompanied by two other morons, on a deserted island with no one knowing about him until 6 months ago!" Kai yelled. "*sigh* I was hoping we wouldn't have to talk about this." Karina said as she held her head in her hands. "Kai, I'm not interested." She suddenly said.

"What? You can't be serious. Over Y/N? He's a criminal!"

"Because of you! I don't want to be with you Kai, I don't. Even before you attacked Y/N, I didn't. I now, I definitely don't. How can I date you at all if you go around trying to steal from or beat up any guy who talks to me? And the criminal part? The picture you saw was a picture of Y/N, Jin, and Jeon. Do you think it's so wrong to carry around sentimental photos of your best friends who passed away?" She spoke. He grabbed the same box from earlier and tried to give it to her as an apology.

"... You're a threat to the people around you, and you're a threat to yourself. And I don't want anyone else I care about to get hurt because of it." She said, before she gave him back the box and walked away.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Haerin asked her brother as he was already walking around despite it only being a few days since he got tackled through a window and stabbed in the hand. "I promise you, I'm fine sis. Guess it just looked worse than it was because I feel fine. It'll probably scar though." He spoke. "What about your hand?" She asked. "As long as I don't lift anything too heavy or put too much pressure on it, it should be fine in a few days. We haven't got long before the everyone gets here and we go on our holiday so I gotta go and get some gifts for everyone else, including you." He said. "Okay, but you don't have to get me one. I'm just glad you're okay." She said. "Aw, my little sis." He said as he pulled her into a hug.

No one's POV

"Well, look what the cat dragged in, again." Kai spoke as he saw Y/N at the mall again despite his recent incident. "*sigh* Hello Kai." Y/N begrudgingly said. "Y'know, I find it odd that me and you always seem to cross paths." He spoke in a hostile tone. "Well, in this case, I'm just looking for a some gifts for my friends and sister. Unfortunately, game consoles are out of the question since the GameStop was closed for... reconstruction." He said. "Don't think I won't shove you through another window if you try anything." He spoke defensively.

"Dude, you gotta chill out with that. I don't know how many times we gotta do this dance, for you to understand." Y/N spoke. "Even if you don't want Karina, I know you're a hardened criminal. You and your Van Der Linde members. You led Jin and Jeon to their deaths didn't you? DIDN'T YOU!?" Kai suddenly yelled. 

In an instant, Y/n had punched him in the throat, had him on his knees holding his neck.

"You say anything like that again to me... I'll break your jaw, knock your teeth out."

Y/n's bone chilling words had strucken a chord in Kai, and his fear was radiating off him. 

"Move out of my way, pussy." Y/n said before kicking Kai to the ground and walking away. 

Y/N POV

I went over to a clothing store and walked toward the Movies and TV section and started browsing through jackets. This would be Han and I.N.'s gift since they both got bad gifts, like usual. Han likes The Walking Dead and I.N. liked the Telltale version, so I'll give Han the winter jacket Rick had in season 4 and give I.N. Clementine's hat.

As I found the TWD section, but before I could find the hat and jacket, I heard a giggle and a light tap on my shoulder. 

"Um, hi." The voice said.

"Oh, hey." I responded. "My friend Yuqi over there asked me to walk over here because she thought you looked cute and ask for your number." She said as she looked back at her friend. 

I wasn't looking for anything, but the girl certainly made me reconsider. She looked breath-taking and didn't look like she wore a lot of make-up. Not to mention, she was in the TWD section too so we were probably into similar kinds of media. 

"Um, I don't know. I don't really know her."

"Then why don't you get to know her?" She responded. "Because I'm going out of town in like 20 minutes. Just came here to get some gifts for my friends." I spoke.

"You mean the next town over, with all the fancy resorts? That's where we're from. We were just visiting to see a friend. If you're going there over the break, then you two could get to know each other."

The girl smiled at me and her smile made me blush a bit so I decided to give her a chance. I held my hand out for the phone, but just as the girl handed it to me, it was slapped out of my hands.

"Get Lost." A familiar voice spoke.

"You? What are you doing here?" "Stopping you from getting kidnapped." Karina quickly interjected before turning to the girl. 

"Get. Lost." She said in a stoic tone, looking at the girl with a deadpan expression. The girl paid her no attention, instead she picked up her phone, told me her name was Minnie and said she'd see me later before walking away.

"Y'know, maybe you shouldn't slap someone's hand a few days after they get stabbed." I said. "I'm here because you said you'd take me out for some ramen." She said with an innocent look on her face. "I said I'd take you out for ramen? When?" I asked with narrowed eyebrows.

"Just now." She said with a smirk before she grabbed my hand. 

"Is this your subtle way of asking me out?" I asked as we walked. 

"Shut up."
