Megan: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our first guest of the day. A former RAW and NXT women's champion, former women's tag team champion, and former 2-time NXT UK women's champion, she is 'The Viper' Ashley Orton
*You walk into the studio, shaking hands with Matt and Megan before sitting down in between them*
You: It has been a minute since I've been here...
Matt: Yes, it has and can I just say that it is amazing to have you back in the studio with us here on The Bump, Ash
You: It's great to be back! I missed being on The Bump with you guys
Megan: And we missed you! So, getting right into it, Ash let's talk about the number one thing everyone has been wondering. How did it feel not being in a ring for 9 whole months?
You: Honestly..it felt weird. Like I've never had any major injuries in all of my career before my ACL, so not being able to wrestle for 9 months was crazy. And the whole process for a torn ACL is a lot, it's physical therapy, slow workouts, slow training in the ring...It was painfully crazy for me, but I'm glad that I'm 100 percent cleared
Megan: And is amazing to hear. We're sure that these past months you have been watching every week to keep up
You: I have, Rhea Ripley being the Women's World Champion, Iyo Sky being Women's Champion and Lyra Valkyria being NXT Women's Champion. Congrats to those three, they deserve it
Matt: But, if you could win one of those titles, which one would it be?
You: I mean, probably the Women's World or Women's Championship. I love the NXT Women's Championship, but I don't think that I wanna start off my return to WWE by winning a championship off of someone, who deserves it more than me. Like Becky did with Tiffany, I love Becky and I respect her, but Tiffany as NXT Women's Champions was great, Tiffany just gives off this Diva Vibe, that if Tiffany was around during the Divas era, I could 100 percent see her holding the divas championship
Megan: Tiffany does give off tht Diva energy..Now, let's talk about Survivor Series. You killed it in wargames, Ash
You: Thank you. I always love being in a wargames match when I'm giving the chance to compete in one
Matt: And that amazing shot of you jumping off the top of the cage, hitting a swanton bomb onto everyone else
You: That was fun to do. I don't normally climb up to the top, but like I said I'm not the same person from earlier this year, I'm a new person, who's looking to win some championship gold and to prove to the world that Ashley Ortonis back for good...
