Chapter 2 : KCA's

*Camila's POV*

"W..What are you talking about? I asked nervously

"Don't lie to me Camila, you guys have been acting strange ever since X-Factor ended"

"Look, Lauren and I are just friends. Nothing more, nothing less. Just drop it"

She sighed "fine, I just hope you're not lying" she walked out and I put my head down in guilt. I walked out of the room and down the stairs, I saw Lauren and everyone else looking at me. I continued walking, making my way to Lauren

"Hey LoLo, can we talk in private?"

"Sure" getting up from her seat and into the living room looking back "okay so what happened? Normani came down looking sad"

"She asked about... us"

"What'd you tell her?"

"I told her that we were just friends but she still thinks I'm lying"

"We have to shake them off of this"

"But I've been thinking.. maybe we should tell them, I mean they have a right to know"

"I know they do, but this is just gonna change everything"

"At least we wouldn't be lying to the most important people in our lives on a daily basis"

She sighed "let's just think it through first okay?"

"Okay"

"So..." she said taking my hand "we've been more than friends for almost a month now and what's the one thing we haven't done yet"

"Ummm... I just cut my head, don't make me think!"

"A date Camz, a date" she said smiling

"Ohh! Yeah, we should go to an Italian restaurant. They got pizza!"

"You and your pizza" she chuckled "anything for my princess"

"You're cute" I said as I hugged her

She wrapped her arms around my waist and as we pulled away, we saw Dinah and Ally watching us

"Guys, we can see you" Lauren said laughing

"I told you we should've hid behind the plant!" Dinah said

"We wouldn't have seen anything! Anyways, did you guys make up?" 

We looked at each other "yup" we said simultaneously 

"Good! Now let's get ready for the KCA's, we have to be there in 4 hours"

"4 hours? Girl, we got time"

"Lunch, wardrobe, interviews and finding our seats?"

"Okay good point" I said running up the stairs only to trip and tumble down the stairs "OW!"

"Camila!" Lauren yelled running to my side "oh my god are you okay?"

"LoLo, chill, it's not the first time that's happened" I said smiling

"Come on, I'll help you up"

"I'm not a baby!"

"You sure do walk like one"

"Hey!"

She put my arm around her shoulder and helped me up the stairs, one step at a time. We made it to my room, carefully putting me on the bed. Truth is, I'm perfectly fine, like for real nothing hurts. I don't know if it's one of those moments where you gotta wait and see if something hurts or if I'm just cool like that but it's sweet how worried Lauren gets about me
