Chapter 20 : Assume

*Camila's POV*

Finally! No more numbness, no more physical therapy, no being carried upstairs- aw man! Oh well, I'll just pretend to be sleeping like I did yesterday. Haha I still can't believe I pulled it off, I haven't done that since I was 7.. Hey...where is everyone? I'm usually the last one up.. no not usually ALWAYS. I walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the counter

"Camila: Ally, Normani and I went to get some food with Momma Dre. Lauren's gonna keep you company (like always) lol she said she was gonna go somewhere later but we should be home before then. Love ya! <3"


Go somewhere? Go where? Hmm, she might still be sleeping. I went upstairs and went to her room, believe it or not, she was sleeping. Hey, I'm the sleeper, she's the one that nags us to wake up... hmm revenge is gonna be so sweet. I smirked and carefully grabbed a pillow from her bed and held it over my head, I was about to hit her then she shot up and threw one at my face. I tumbled backwards, landing on my butt. She out of her bed and got on top of me, holding me down

"Hey no fair, I was suppose to do that to you!"

"Guess you're not as smooth as I am"

"Clearly"

For a few moments, we just staring into each others eyes. The whole time, I was smiling like an idiot but I didn't care, neither did she. It was like, the rest of the world just disappeared for those few moments

"I gotta get going" she said smiling then getting up

"Where you going?"

"Meeting up with a friend, we have a lot to catch up on"

"Oh alright, have fun"

"Thanks boo"

She helped me up and kissed me cheek and off she went, I smiled and waited downstairs for the rest of the girls to come back. I started doing my vocal exercises, since we have to work double time on the album. We're so behind its not even funny. Sure we only have like 1 song done but still! We have to decide on the debut single in 3 months! 

I warmed up my voice and started singing lines from One Direction songs when Normani, Dinah and Ally came in with a giant stack of takeout. My eyes nearly popped out of my head and I ran towards them, before I was even a foot away, Dinah used her other arm to hold me back

"Oh no no no, I'm not getting another food shower"

"That was one time"

"Two."

"Besides we have to wait for Lauren, when'd she say she'd be coming back?"

"I don't know, lemme text her and see what she says"

To: Baby <3
What time you coming home? I miss you c;

From: Baby <3
Be there in a half hour or so. Love you! <3

I smiled at the text, put my phone back in my pocket and ran to my room to charge my phone and left to eat... FOOD!!!

*Lauren's POV*

Oh my god where do they live, I've been walking for ages. It's almost March, why is it still cold? Ugh whatever.. I wonder what Keaton wants. I swear if he tries anything, he's gonna get his ass beat. Camila can walk again, Normani's keeping her crush on the hush hush and we're working even harder to get the album done in time and pick the debut single

Finally, I was at their house. I walked up the steps and knocked on the door, turning around to take a keep breathe and turned back when the door opened

"Sup Lauren"

"Hey Drew, is Keaton here?"

"Uh yeah, he's in his room. Is he expecting you?"

"Yeah, he texted me yesterday he had to talk to me about something"

"Alright, he's the second room on the left"
