EVER SINCE SHE WAS BORN, Kara Wilder was cursed as an outsider. Her and her twin brother, Klaus Wilder, were hand-selected to carry the weight of their abilities as long as they lived. With snow-white hair and the most stunning blue eyes ever seen, they were the outcasts of their ancestry line. They were the different ones.
On one fateful day in 1947, the two thirteen-year-olds' lives came crumbling down upon them, shattering their family into pieces. The two were unable to control their abilities, not having anyone to help them. It was an accident. Seeing the rage across their father's face, they ran away and ended up at Charles Xavier's home.
Over the years, Kara never forgot what it was like to be different even as she grew to control her ability. The incident was forever engraved into her mind as well as a reminder whenever she looked in the mirror.
When Kara, the stubborn and determined woman, meets a hardheaded metal freak, she didn't expect to fall so hard whenever he looked at her with the dullest yet most passionate blue eyes. He was the only one who understood the insides of her soul. Reaching in, he stole her heart behind the shadows as well.
She knew it was nothing but a fantasy, but that's what fueled the desire to have him right next to her. With the X-Men growing into a team, she didn't know her life could come crumbling down a second time, leaving a rut in her history she'd always keep close to her if it meant forgetting that fantasy.
KARA WAS Aclosed-off person, only having her twin brother and two best friends in her life to help guide her along to keep up with the world. After experiencing her mother's death by her hand, she knew her life would never be the same.
Though, she grew to learn her abilities as a Hydrokinetic, she was determined to never let anyone else in to see the darkest parts of her. Stubborn and hardheaded, she paved her way through deep waters until she came to an abrupt stop once she met the most adamant person of them all.
ERIK LEHNSHERRwas just a boy when everything turned upside down for him. Being used as a pawn, he too, experienced his mother die in front of his eyes. Traumatic, if you asked him. Running after Shaw all his life to avenge his mothers death and for making him into the weapon he was today, he didn't expect to fall into the hands of a white-haired woman who had a severe case of sarcasm and a disgusted expression across her face at all times, keeping her alive.
