Chapter Thirty Eight The Kent Siblings to The Reacue Season 1, Episode 7 "Hey, you're our dad. You may be Superman, but we can't let you die." ====================================
Within a minute, the Kent siblings were in the truck and Jonathan was driving. "Okay, you're going to have to go faster, all right? Dad doesn't have much time." Jordan tells Jonathan. "Jordan, I've only driven mom's car before." Jonathan snaps back. "Guys, please." Jade says, breathing out in pain. "Sorry, Gia. Please just tell me which way to go." Jonathan tells her. "It's so loud." Jade says, squinting her eyes shut. "Whenever you were listening to us at school earlier, whatever it was, please just do that." Jordan tells her. "Jade, please, focus, please." Jade sits forward placing her hands on her dashboard as she closes her eyes to focus. 'You're wrong about me.' "That way. That way. That way. That way!" Jade says, pointing off to the right.

Within minutes The Kent siblings find themselves driving towards a man raising a hammer up to use to hit Clark who was on the ground. The trio scream as the run into him, sending him flying into a pile of boxes. The trio quickly get out of the car and rush over to Clark. "Dad." Jade says, trying to go over tohim but going weak all of a sudden and having to lean against the car to keep her stood up, she notices Jordan doing the same on the other side. "The lights." Clark says. "What?" Jonathan asks. "The lights." Clark repeats. Jonathan realises what Clark meant, noticing the red lights coming from the caravan. Jonathan grabs the handle of the hammer, having to drag it as it was to heavy. Once at the caravan, Jonathan swings the hammer, hitting the lights, causing them all to go out. Clark stands up, his eyes glowing red as he makes it over to the man. Clark picks him up by the shirt going to punch him. "Stop!" Lois shouts, causing Clark to look at her and his children. "It's over. It's over."

Jade was sat in the window, feet on the window sill in front of her, when there was a knock at the door. She looks away from the window and towards the door to see her brothers stood there. "Hey." Jade says, with a small smile. "Have you guys made up?" "Yeah, we have." Jordan says, as they both sit on her bed. Jade lets out a sigh as she leans her head on the wall behind her, looking back out the window. "You okay there, sis?" Jonathan asks. "Feels like everything since we got here has just been a big secret. I just, I want it to go back to normal so bad." Jade says. "To be fair, Jade. Pretty sure all normal people have stuff that they're hiding, too." Jonathan tells her. "Not as big as us." Jade points out, with a small laugh. "Tonights probably been the most scared I've been in my life." Jordan says. "Why, because of Jonathan's driving?" Jade jokes. "Hey! But I got to say, it was pretty awesome." Jonathan says. "You did total dad's truck." Jordan points out. "Yeah, pretty sick." Jonathan says, as they all laugh. "Bro, I don't even have a learners permit." "Or know how to drive." Jade points out, as her two brothers stand up acting out the scene. "Which was incredibly reckless and dangerous and irresponsible and absolutely... necessary." Clark says, as him and Lois enter the room, causing Jonathan and Jordan to sit back down on the bed as Jade stays at the window. "You all saved my life tonight, so I think I owe you a pretty big thank you." "Hey, you're our dad. You may be Superman, but we can't let you die." Jade says. "Listen, we know you guys must have a lot of questions about whats been going on around here." Lois says. "We taught you not to keep secrets from us." Clark says. "So we're not going to keep secrets from you anymore." Lois tells them. "Isn't most of that stuff like, classified though?" Jonathan asks. "Yes, which is why none of what we tell you can ever leave this house. Is that understood?" Lois says strictly. "Definitely. Yeah." Jade says. "Okay, who want's to go first?" Lois asks. The trio share a look before Jordan kicks off with the first question.
