Chapter Fourty Are You Crazy Season 1, Episode 8 "I... I... Can't... b... breath." ====================================
After leaving Amelia, Jonathan arrived home and entered the caravan where Lois and Jade caught him up on everything. "So John Henry's from another earth?" Jonathan asks. "Yeah, it's kind of confusing. Multiverse and parallel universes each with its own earth." Lois says. "Etc. Etc." "So on his earth there like... are there other versions of people from here?" Jonathan asks. "Yeah, sometimes." Lois says, clicking on a button. "Like you?" Jade asks as pictures of John and Lois appear on the screen. They continue to look through photos, making it clear that Lois and John were married in his universe. Not only were they together, they had a daughter.

When she got home from hanging out with Jonathan, Amelia was sat at the dining table doing homework, when her dad dropped a box on the table infront of her. "Ta-da!" Danny shouts, over the music blasting into Amelia's ears over her headphones. "You're being ridiculous." Amelia says, taking her headphones off. "I'm excited. Go on. Open it." Danny tells her. "That box ain't going to open itself. Come on." Amelia sighs closing her laptop. She flicks the lid off the box as she stands up, jokingly glaring at her dad, but as she sees what was in the box her eyes widen. "Sheet music?" Amelia asks. "From just about every musical ever." Danny says. "Okay, pick one, then let's get you warmed up, all right?" Danny then goes to get his guitar before coming back and sitting at the table. "Dad. I can't." Amelia tells him. "Bubba, come on now. You're a great singer." Danny says, tuning the guitar. "You've been singing in choir for years." "Yeah, in the background." Amelia reminds him. "It's eaiser to perform with people. There's safety in numbers." "Fifth grade. You had that big solo in the Christmas pagent. So did Sarah. You girls would have killed those two solos if you hadn't gotten food poisioning. I just know it." Danny says. "Maybe that was the universes way of telling me that I'm not meant to perform by myself." Amelia says, sitting down. "Or maybe it was the universe telling you and Sarah to stop sharing everything. Including food." Danny says. "Dad, Sarah didn't have food poisioning. I did. But she didn't. We used it as an excuse so she didn't have to perform as well." Amelia admits. "Now whenever I even think about performing by myself, there's like a weight on my chest." "If that feeling of wanting to sing is greater then that fear of getting up there, well, then you gotta try." Danny tells her. "Bubba, the fear is just short pain. Regret... that lasts a lot longer." "Okay. Let's do it." Amelia says, standing up. "Yeah?" Danny asks. "Yeah." Amelia repeats. "Okay. Let's do it." Danny says, with a smile. Amelia smiles back and sits back down getting ready to sing.

Jade had been looking for Jonathan everywhere. She sighs as there was only one place she hadn't checked. She walked onto the caravan and sure another there Jonathan was sat at the computer screens. "What are you doing? Are you crazy?" Jade asks, walking over to him. "Jesus, Gia. You scared me." Jonathan says. "Mom told us not to come in here without her." Jade says. "It's fine." Jonathan says. "Jon, It's not..." Jade starts, but cuts herself off as a news broadcast Lois had down on the other world shows up on the screen. '...and we must defeat them if we are to save humanity. For that is what seperates us from them. Our humanity.' "Jon..." Jade whispers, as the other worlds Superman flies up behind Lois. 'I love you both.' The two watch as Lois gets killed, Jonathan then quickly turns to video off. "Jon..." Jade says, with a shaky voice. "It's okay." Jonathan says, standing up and placing a hand on her shoulder. Jonathan then walks past her and starts to look for something. "What are you looking for?" Jade asks. Jonathan doesn't answer, but he pulls open a cuboard to find loads of guns. All of a sudden an alarm blares and lights flash red. The two siblings go to leave but the windows shut to get covered by bulletproof metal and the door locks. "Jade!" Jonathan shouts over the alarm, as he pulls her into him. "Identification required." The AI voice says. "Okay. Okay. Jonathan Kent. Jonathan Kent." Jonathan says. "Warning you are not authorised." The voice says. "Jade! Jade Kent!" Jade shouts. "Warning you are not authorised." The voice repeats, before machines come down and lasers point at them. "In T-minus 20 seconds, you will be eliminated." "Stand back." Jade says, going over to the door. "Jade, careful!" Jonathan tells her, as the voice starts to count down. Jade goes to break down the door with her super strength but something sparys in her face, causing her to stumble back and struggle to breath. "No!" Jonathan shouts before running over and banging on the door. "Mom! Mom!" The screen then comes down the window in the door, before Jonathan runs over to Jade, lifting her head into his lap. "Jon..." Jade chocks out. "It's okay. It's going to be okay." Jonathan tries to reassure her. "Jonathan! Jade!" Lois shouts from the outside. "Mom! Mom! Mom! Please! Somethings happened to Jade!" Jonathan shouts. "Mom! Somethings happened to Jade! We're not authorised, it's going to kill us!" "This is Lois Lane! They're my son and daughter!" Lois shouts. 'Ten...' "Stop the countdown!" Lois shouts. 'Nine...' "Jon..." Jade gasps out. 'Eight...' "You're going to be okay, Gia. I promise." Jonathan tells her. 'Seven...' "Jon, I...I can't breath..." Jade gasps. 'Six...' "Okay, listen, I'm going to sit you up and I'm going to cover you, okay?" Jonathan tells her. 'Five...' "But... it'll...it'll kill you." Jade says. 'Four...' "It'll be okay." Jonathan tells her again. 'Three...' The pair get ready to be shot at. 'Two...' They hear the door being ripped off. 'One...' Just as they are shot at, Clark comes in and covers them. He disarms everything using his laser eyes before speeding the three of them out of the van. Lois runs over, hugging the two of them. "Are you okay?" Lois asks, as they pull away. "I... I... Can't... b... breath." Jade says, grabbing her throat. As it starts to become impossible for her to breath, Jade collapses to the floor.
