Chapter 33: Warhawk and Animan

In the residence of Valeria Dodd, just 2 days after Christmas had ended, Valeria was fast asleep in her apartment in a city still covered with small inches of snow.

But what was about to wake her up was a reminder from a certain someone that today was her birthday.

Of course, Valeria didn't even mumble in her sleep as the door to her bedroom creaked open as someone silently walked inside.

The said someone carefully jumped onto Valeria's bed and started batting her nose insistently while purring.

Valeria wakes up and sees her Russian Blue cat Mirette staring at him with a smile while purring.

Mirette meows as if she were saying, "Happy Birthday, Dad."

Valeria pets Mirette as she replies, "Well, you're the first one to wish me a Happy Birthday, my dear. Thanks."

Valeria gets up as Mirette jumps off the bed and struts to the kitchen.

Valeria does her usual morning routine before going into her kitchen, only to see Baardolph floating there with a drawing of the both of them holding hands while flying over a city not unlike New York City and with a sunny sky background that was accompanied by birds flying higher than Baardolph and Valeria in the drawing.

And next to this drawing was a kwagatama.

Baardolph states, "Happy Birthday, Valeria!"

Valeria smiles before frowning in disgust at the kwagatama, having been previously educated by Marinette about what a kwagatama is and how it's made.

Baardolph states, "I know you think kwagatamas are disgusting, but unfortunately, this is the only kind of birthday present kwamis know how to make without having a human form to go out and buy something more meaningful, in addition to being the only conduit capable of connecting you with the spirit memories of your predecessors for advice."

Valeria replies, "Well, even so, it's always the thought that counts."

Baardolph hugs Valeria's cheek.

After about a few hours of the team congregating and celebrating Valeria's birthday, Ladybug then shows the team a hologram of Fort des Adelphes Military Base to see what Valeria's uncle Ronin Griffin was doing.

Outside of the Fort des Adelphes military base, many soldiers along with the ones actually stationed at the base stood in unison at attention as a military helicopter landed on one of the helipads.
