Lewis:
It's been exactly 2 months since Rikki and Emma came out to me. I guess they didn't really come out but I guess they did at the same time. Either way I support them. I mean my brother Lenny second oldest. He has his own plant nursery. Anyway he came out to me as unlabeled last year, he even introduced me to his boyfriend. I mean he's my brother. What am I going to do? I see him no different then before he came out.
Cleo and I have been getting close. I'm sure her dad doesn't like it since I'm a boy coming over to his house. So we've been going to the Juice Net café a lot and it's only been a week into summer. I really enjoy her company.
Cleo:
Cleo- " The girls and me are going to the mall later today they asked me to ask you if you wanted to come"
Lewis- " Can we go to the fishing shop after I hear they just got new fishing poles in stock"
Lewis puts his hand over my shoulder and shakes me. I'm smiling because it's funny.
Lewis- " is that a yes" he says.
Cleo- " it's a yes."
Lewis- " Yesss" he says as his face lifts up.
[ At the mall]
Lewis:
Me and Cleo get here before Emma and Rikki. We are looking at clothes.. by we I mean Cleo.
Cleo- " What about this one?"
Lewis-" It looks great on you Cleo."
It feels like we have been in this store for ages. I'm leaning against the wall and Cleo's showing me nearly everything in the store.
Everything between purple tops and gel sandals. It's actually a shock to me that I know what gel sandals are. Cleos making her way in and out of the dressing room. It's like a free fashion show. Then come Rikki and Emma.
Rikki- " Hi Lewis I'm surprised you showed up" she says laughing, leaning onto Emma's shoulder clapping her hands hysterically.
Lewis- " ha ha very funny but I'm actually being forced here against my own will."
They all look at me with a blank expression. " Joking I'm only joking, I was promised to go to the fishing shop."
Cleo- " Rikki and Emma just got here we haven't even been to JC Penny's or American Eagle yet."
Knowing this news I know that we're going to be in this mall for at least another 3 hours.. oh boy. Good thing I love them.
[ 3 hours later]
Lewis- "YES THEY HAVE IT!! The fishing pole I've been looking for."
I make my way to check out and the four of us leave the store.
