Rikki:

Today is the day that Emma is leaving to go onto the cruise ship. Cleo and Lewis have been over at her house, multiple times, helping her pack boxes of her clothes and her shorts. Her bedding really anything that you could think of that she's going to need.

They are helping her put everything into boxes. Emma's parents aren't allowing me to come over. For obvious reasons, of course. They really can't take in the fact that their daughter is a lesbian.

Four days Cleo and Lewis have been comforting me telling me that it's going to be OK.

But how can you know it's going to be ok for sure. Her parents are so controlling. Emma's getting yelled at every single day. Her parents won't let her leave the house.

I don't know when I'll get to see her again or if I'll get to see her before she leaves today. I'll try to figure it out.

I'll try to find a way. It seems nearly impossible because they've been watching her every move especially ever since a month ago when Emma's mom found out that me and Emma were at the Juice Net Café together.

She's been asking the owner of the Juice Net Café every single day if we have been there together since then. Wilfred he's probably so confused as to why Emma"s mom is coming in there every single day asking if Emma and I have been in here.

I would've never guessed how homophobic Emma's mother, would it be. I mean I genuinely thought she would be a good person. I really did. How is it though that she treated me so nicely. The second she finds out about me and Emma  she snaps and breaks. It's so unfair towards her. Emma deserves the world.

I'm rummaging through my things. Then I find a photo of just me and Emma. This was taken by Cleo shortly after finding about us. Cleo took this photo of us at the Juice Net Café. We're sitting in a booth across from Cleo.

We are both laughing in this picture. This is a happy memory.

If I'm going to say goodbye to Emma. I'm going to give her something sentimental so she can remember me.

Emma:

Cleo, Lewis, both of my parents, and my little brother Elliot are packing. Everything onto this ginormous cruise ship. We had to take a car about two hours away from the Gold Coast.

There's special, boating docks, for cruise ships like this. As of now nobody's on the boat but it's ginormous. It's a three-story boat with swirling slides wrapped around parts of it that fall into a swimming pool.

As we enter the boat, there are already workers taking our stuff for us. And putting it into each of our rooms. Everything on this boat is so dull it's only one solid color, primarily red, a dark velvet red covering the floors. From iview on the first floor, you can see there's a bar, food court, and a merchandise store.

Me, Cleo and Lewis are setting up everything in my new room. Putting on bedspreads, setting up my pictures, putting all of my clothes into my closet. My parents are busy decorating the rooms taking all of their stuff out. My little brothers doing the same. It's only us three in my new bedroom.

Lewis-" all right, so what's the plan?"

Cleo-" Emma's parents are distracted right now. Lewis, you can keep on lookout. Make sure to occupy them if they come out of their room."

Lewis-" keep lookout got it"

Emma-" i'll see you guys in a few minutes"

As I leave my new bedroom, I don't bother shutting the door just in case they hear it closing. That's when I run for the exit to get off the boat and Rikki is waiting for me. As soon as I see her, I spin into her arms. And we sway there for a moment. I haven't been able to see Rikki for such a long time. The sun is setting, it hits her eyes just perfectly.
