"Are you serious? Have you lost your mind?" Soojin asked, her shock palpable as Emily cut the call. "People will point fingers at us if something terrible happens to her," she added, her voice filled with concern.
"Relax, we'll just say she regained her memories and attempted suicide again." Emily shrugged, her demeanor oddly calm as she applied her lipstick looking in the mirror.
"You really think anyone will buy such a flimsy excuse?"
"Don't fret, Soojin. I trust him. He'll manage everything smoothly, and no one will suspect a thing. Just trust me," Emily assured her while Soojin nodded in agreement.

You headed toward the parking lot, clutching your car keys tightly. The aftermath of the altercation with Soojin and her gang left your mind in disarray. The longing for your old home tugged at your heartstrings until you finally resolved to visit it. Dialing your parents, or more accurately Jin Ae's parents, you explained your intention to return home alone. Concerned, they hesitated, but you fabricated a story about staying at a friend's house to ease their worries.Eventually, they relented, reassured by your apparent adjustment after the amnesia. They even instructed their driver to hand you over the car keys, as you made them believe by your falsehood that your friend will be driving. With a weight lifted, you made your way to the parking lot, only to pause abruptly. As you sensed you were being followed. Surveying the surroundings, you spotted some sturdy figures heading towards their cars, easing your tension as you slipped into your own vehicle and secured the doors.
.You started your car to head towards your old apartment, driving peacefully. However, you noticed that two black cars were right behind you. You began to feel uneasy because they had been behind you for almost 20 minutes. At first, you shrugged it off, thinking maybe they were going in the same direction as you and perhaps you were just imagining things. You veered your car slightly while driving to let them pass, but they didn't pass. Instead, they continued following you. So, you sped up your car a little, feeling increasingly uneasy, but to your horror, those cars sped up too.
Soon, it dawned on you that those cars weren't following you by chance; they were purposefully tailing you.
But why? Did they intend to harm you? Fear gripped your heart as the question loomed large in your mind. With adrenaline coursing through your veins, you pressed harder on the accelerator, desperate to escape their gaze.
Suddenly, a violent jolt rocked your car, sending you lurching towards the steering wheel as one of the black cars collided with your side. "Hey! What's your problem?" you shouted.
But before you could gather your wits, the other car rammed into you again. Now, trapped between the two menacing vehicles, your panic escalated. With a surge of determination, you pushed your car to its limits, accelerating even more in a frantic bid to break free from their grasp.
You navigated through different streets in a desperate attempt to shake off your pursuers, but their relentless pursuit persisted. Driving with increasing speed, you spotted another street and without hesitation, veered your car onto it and you thought maybe you escaped from them because you didn't see them coming. However, your relief was short-lived as your car abruptly slowed down and came to a halt, prompting a furrowed brow of confusion.
Your gaze fell upon the fuel gauge, ''What the heck?'' a surge of frustration nearly escaped your lips as you realized the tank had run dry.
''Oh no no no no... please get start, please'' You desperately tried to start the car again but it was of no use. Fear tightened its grip on your heart as the distant sound of the two pursuing cars grew louder. Well yeah, you knew kendo but those were two cars who were following you and you have no idea how many men could be in those cars so you definitely don't wanna act foolishly.
