V's POV
I wasn't sure why I agreed to attend this boring event.It's almost half an hour but still hasn't started yet.How pathetic all of these human creatures patiently waiting with wide smiles on their faces.This kind of gatherings is not even to my liking yet I let myself dragged by this woman beside me almost clinging to my arms like I will be out of her sight if she hadn't hold me tightly.Though she knew very well that even them can't be so much touchy-feely with me.They knew their place and what kind of "Woman "I'am ,upon growing together they have trained and curved by my grandfather perfectly for protecting me and being my "Family "as created.
She is one of the members of my family, and I know no matter how much I dislike this kind of thing she will never allow me to escape as she instructed me that one of the biggest man on business industry will attend this event and I had to see him with my own eyes but I know that there is more to it ,she's just playing safe and want me to discover it to myself.She knows how keen my eyes and with just one look I can tell the truth and lies.
For many years of experience and observation,"creatures(Human)" were all easily manipulated and deceived by their own kind.Showing affection and kindness is some of their tactics to lure each others .Power and wealth are their best evil ,letting them controlled by.Mere things aren't affecting me at all as "I'am the Monarch ;The Ruler and among every living creatures(Human).
Allowing them to experience luxury in their lives were only on my pity,yet they don't know about me.Interesting fact about these creatures was they trust each others easily without knowing anything about them truly,how fascinating,that's the reason why they being used and deceived by their own kind.Like this man ,he thought ,he got lucky to live his life to the fullest,having lots of money on his bank accounts,luxurious things,fancy cars and playing with lots of "young women "as his play thing for pleasure.How absurd,to think that he truthfully trust and believe that "Man"!Well I guess that's how truly and easily manipulated creatures can be.
After almost one hour of waiting the runaway started.Model's starting to walk one by one,like robots without any expression on their faces.Their dresses have different designs but mostly on dark colors.I didn't pay any much attention to them as my eyes locked to the man on his gray suit seated on the front row.It was him,my companion don't have to say anything cause I'm certain. I observed every gesture he made and when I'm done I tapped Callie's hand .She understood right away my gestures.
I was about to rise from my seat when this model tripped on her feet.Some audience gasp and I saw how their eyes landed on the woman.But the woman arise and gave them her sweetest smile and continue her walking like she doesn't care about her ankle being sprained.It's just a simple smile yet her eyes disappeared to a thin line that brightened her face.She professionally handled her worse accident by that.The audience were all amazed and clapped their hands like they are proud to that young woman's actions .Callie's face lit up when she noticed that I took a glance to that woman but I just ignored her.Thought her features remained on my mind for some unknown reason.
We didn't stay long and we left that place instantly.
"His one of his pawn,tell Phil to see me"
"What do you think his intentions of attending such gathering?"it was Callie who's asking me.
"We'll talk when we got home"she knew what I'm pertaining to so she remains silent the whole drive.She was about to part ways with me to call Phil when I call her once again.
"That woman" she nodded her head as she knew already what I wanted to say.
Not too long we reached my penthouse,it was just one of my many in this country.I'm not actually staying in any of those houses,penthouses even mansions for too long, I'd rather stay in the mountains with my dogs on my cabins for hunting.This one is a new one ,Callie told me that this one might be to my liking as the architecture of this one was fitted for my liking.She said that it was Tesseia's idea and they hide it from me,and when I finally saw this, I agreed to stay in here,surely they knew what I preferred and likes.
I went directly to my room , I was welcomed without darkness so I command "Lights On"!!!and so the lights turned on.This whole penthouse was built in high technology.My room is a place where nobody could enter even "them". I take off my mask and shades and lose my neck tie to breathe calmly and then fold my sleeves up to my forearm .I grab the wine bottle and pour some to my glass. It's refreshing,my throat immediately felt the liquor.I sipped once more while closing my eyes feeling the sensation it brings to warm my body.That woman,she captured my interest with her eyes and pure smile.The picture of her smile still lingers in my mind it's weird for me to succumb to this kind of thing. I know I wasn't capable of feeling anything because that's who I am,that's how I'am built and no one could made me feel anything . I need to confirm this thoughts and it's the first time that happened to me.Maybe it's just my imagination or just some sort of curiosity but still there's something I can't put into words. I poured myself some more wine and drink it straight,tastes as good as old times.Few more moments and then,"what kind of creature you are"?I whispered to myself as her orbs did not disappear in my head.
