I officially hate school.

It's so boring without Ricky here, especially during rehearsal. It just doesn't have all of the fun and stupidity it used to.

At least we have Carlos...

"Hey." I look up from my phone, noticing Ashlyn sliding onto the bleachers beside me. "You okay?" She gives me a concerned smile.

I shrug. "I'm fine. Just a little...Ricky sick." I blush

(Does anyone remember that from Puppy Love?)

"Hey, it's okay. I get it. When i was with Big Red it got hard, between going to camp and him being in Cairo. I can't imagine not being with Maddox the amount I am."

"It feels stupid."

"It's not, I promise. Hey," she says, lightning it up. "Aren't you spending a lot of Thanksgiving break with Ricky? And we're going to go to his apartment for a Friendsgiving?"

I smile, thinking about it. "Yeah. Yeah, we are."

"That'll be amazing. Now, come on, let's go practice."

In the rehearsal room, you could say I was a bit off task, unfocused.

I receive a text from Nini.

N: Hey, Gi. I could use some advice. You free after rehearsal?

G: I think we can make that work.

Nini's POV
I am so stumped on what to do. Jack, Hazel, Carter. I just don't know.

And Gina and I are long overdue for some girl talk. So I'm inviting her to my favorite cafe I used to go to every week with Kourt.

In no way am I replacing Kourtney, but you need a good friend while your others are away.

That is one thing I know for sure.

Gina's POV

My phone sounds off again. It must be Nini...right?

Unknown: Hey there. Sorry if this is weird, but I'm Ri! Ri Porter from that Romeo and Juliet interview at your school.

G: Oh hi! So, what's going on?
