Ricky's POV
"Gi? You feeling a little better?" I slide into the bed beside her, rubbing her shoulders.

"I texted Ri...when I woke up?"

"Sweetie, how long have you been awake?"

"Like, twenty minutes...maybe?"

"Oh."

"Yep."

"Do you want something to eat? I've got Hawaiian pizza in the freezer."

"Sounds amazing."

"I promise I'll take you out to get something nicer soon, it's just-"

"Ricky," she laughs, "don't worry about it." She leans close to me flirtatiously. "It's perfect."

I kiss her quickly. "I'll get that started." I whisper.

Gina smiles lovingly, not saying anything else. I begin to head towards the kitchen to start the pizza.

"I love you."

My head snaps back around.

"And I love you, Gina Porter."

A few weeks later
Today is a Wednesday, and we're nearing the end of November. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I'll be spending it with Mom, Dad, Aunt Judy, and her husband.

Gina's going to be with her mom.

We're meeting up on Friday like usual, and on Saturday Ri is going to be passing through town, so Gina and I are going to meet her at a park so that they can have some alone time, but I'll be nearby if they need anything.

Gina's nervous, and I know holidays are always hard for her, and she and her mom are still yet to be fully healed.

I just hope they can come together and help each other, rather than feeling against each other.

So, yeah, Gina's nervous.

And it makes sense.

Because now she's meeting someone who is in direct contact with her father.

So Gina may reunite with her dad.

Which is just...complicated.

Hi everyone! I'm gonna be making a The School for Good and Evil fanfic soon I think!

Also, the book will speed up soon. Once we get past the musical, the school year will be sped up and shown in small highlights! After that, we'll be getting into Rina and the other's adult lives which may or may not be a bit more quickly paced at some points and slowed down at others.

Lastly, if you didn't know, Wattpad is getting rid of the privacy messaging feature, and so I want to be able to stay in contact with the people I've talked to over the last (almost) year. I had gotten the app on my birthday last year which is next Friday, May 3rd.
