A cute bunny plushie seemed to make its way to Namjoon's locker at the university when he unlocked it to take out some old assignment file. A white coloured soft toy with flapping ears and eyes stitched in black thread looked extremely cute to the man who forgot to think of its origin for initial few seconds. It reminded him of the cute stranger he crossed path with few days ago. As he was about to straighten the slightly folded ears of the toy, a displeasing voice startled him.

"Happy anniversary!"

Turning his head towards the right, he rolled his eyes in disgust watching an over excited Ha-jin. She was smiling with all her teeth out and dressed in a a cute outfit. No matter how well she dressed, Namjoon never felt any attraction towards the girl.

"I'm not your boyfriend, Ha-jin." Namjoon threw the toy at her realising the sender of the gift was none other her and started walking away after closing the locker.
"Joonie, I'm your girlfriend. It's our anniversary of two years." She kept following Namjoon with constant blabbers.
"Don't call me that ever again. We just went on two dates and I called it off after we kissed. Don't you remember anything?" Namjoon almost yelled out in frustration without caring about the judgemental eyes of the busy corridor of the law department but that didn't seem to affect the other anyway.

"Just give me a chance, I will be the best girlfriend. I promise!" She said hopping in front of the man, blocking his way. Her pleading pouty face irked Namjoon more now.
"I don't like you, simple! And wait a minute, how did you get into my locker? Did you use that hair pin trick again?" She nodded in a cute way but the nod failed to serve its purpose as Namjoon was about to punch her on the face if his cautious mind didn't warn him of her gender.

Shoving her out of the way, Namjoon ran off to the men's room trying to avoid Ha-jin for being extra clingy. The day went by with the lectures and projects but Namjoon's eyes craved for the stranger again and his heart wished for a miracle too. It wasn't a realistic thought to visit the burger joint again in hope of meeting Jungkook but what's the harm to try it out as Namjoon thought.

The place was packed up today but he wanted to spend most of the time munching on the freshly served plate of grilled cheese sandwiches and fries in desperate attempt of fulfilling his goal for the evening. Taking a seat at one corner table that he had to share with a middle aged man seemed way within his comfort level as he was more focussed on his aim.

Namjoon has been a swift eater but today he made his mind to chew on the food at least 50 times before swallowing it down and the bites taken were undeniably smaller than usual. Sometimes, licking a fry dipped in the delicious marinara and mustard sauce mix wasn't a bad idea to pass the time. Sadly, the sandwiched bread pieces, the fries and the sauce got diminished in quantity with each passing minute. The clock was ticking too fast and he cannot turn his back to the assignment he has to prepare for next day.

It was out of the blue that Namjoon started doubting himself for the reason he is so eager to meet Jungkook. Is it just because he is cute or because of his personality. Whatever the point of attraction be, the main concern was what he wanted out of a sudden meet. Was it just to start a friendship or to share some minutes of conversation about food just like they did the first time.

"Sir, would you like to have anything else?"

Namjoon's series of doubts took a recess as one of the workers from the burger joint approached him. Checking the phone he found it was almost 10 and the shop was about to be closed.

"No, thanks. I will be leaving."

As the bill was already paid, Namjoon picked up the tray and placed it in the plate disposer before walking out of the place.

It's been a hectic day as Do-guk visited the bureau along with his assistant and tried to talk to Byeol to extract information. Kun-woo's manager came for her bail but she denied and when Do-guk initiated a conversation, she started crying expressing remorse of killing his husband. There was no significant use of words, just his name and "I'm sorry" could be heard in between the sobs.

Jungkook's active participation in the case brought out the worst of Sung-ho who didn't present all the collected evidences and reports to the attorney for relevant actions. In Bin's encouragement, Jungkook explained every little detail of the case to Do-guk earning his thankfulness.

It was already 9 when he left from work but the crowded supermarket drained more time as he went for grocery shopping. Just out of utter inquisitiveness, he took an about-turn to hit the burger place before returning home. It's not just about the hope of meeting Namjoon, it's a weird obsession he grew in his mind involuntarily that might end once he actually gets to meet the other.

The vibrant ambiance near the place was missing as the shop door was half closed. The time was 10 in the night, so nothing else could be expected. Getting out of the car seemed pointless as Jungkook pouted his lips in dissatisfaction of the effort he put for driving extra few kilometres.

Pulling the accelerator of his car, Jungkook was about to steer the wheel as his eyes caught the unforeseen view! A tall man dressed in black jeans and brown coat walking out of the shop who was responsible for all the rushed hormones inside of Jungkook for last few days. Without a scrutiny of surroundings, Jungkook unbuckled his seat belt and stepped out of his car.

"Namjoon!"
"Jungkook!"
