Involving Namjoon's side of information in the investigation is the key to the actual truth, thinking which Jungkook thought of getting him started to face the questions. However, looking at the boy sleeping adorably holding the elder's hand so as to keep him with himself, Jungkook was thought of giving him some more time. He was seated beside Namjoon and patting his head gently that lulled him to sleep.

With the low pitched snoring sound, Jungkook felt relieved for Namjoon to get some rest. Meanwhile, he took out his phone and found a text from Kai bitching about his boss who made him join in the evening shift for the forensic tests. He straightened in his sitting position as there was some hope to find Kai back to work. He dialled his number without a second of delay.

"Kai" Jungkook whispered to not disturb Namjoon.
"You won't believe that asshole-" The forensic employee was about to start ranting when Jungkook hushed him.
"Kai, I promise to listen to every cursed spell you would put on your boss but right now I need your help."
"Hey buddy, don't worry about it. Just tell me what do I need to do."

Jungkook sighed glancing at Namjoon and then resumed the conversation, "You have the fingerprints recorded in your desktop file, right?"
"Yeah, I got the details, man." The reply was positive from the other end.
"You mentioned about some other fingerprints found in the items I brought to you. Can you please check if any of them except from Kun-woo and Byeol are matching?"
"I segregated the samples with identification numbers. I guess there were total 4-5 fingerprints altogether, now I need to match those."
"Thanks Kai. It will really help a lot."
"Anytime, man."

"What are you planning?" A raspy voice almost whisper yelled at Jungkook as soon as he put his phone back into the pocket. Do-guk was spotted as he turned towards the door. He quickly got off the bed detaching his hand from
Namjoon and walked to him.

"My friend from forensics ran some tests on few items belonging to Namjoon where he found several fingerprints, so he will be comparing those with some victim's and some other's. Whoever is trying to drag him to this might have planned a lot, sir. Also, we found some old cabinets in the Lee residence that my colleague would check breaking the lock. The shocking thing is that I didn't submit any report on the painting that has been informed to you by inspector."

Do-guk folded arms against his chest and inclined his head a little, the threatening look never leaving off Jungkook.
"If you didn't, then who did?"
"The painting is still with me and that's the biggest mystery that inspector Won knows about Namjoon's credit card purchasing the painting while that report has been collected by me only. This leads us to some unknown source who is providing these information to him."

Suddenly, Do-guk's phone ringtone buzzed interrupting the two. It was his assistant's number which cannot be ignored now.
"Hello, got anything?" He walked out of the room. Jungkook didn't want to overhear, but hoped for something to turn in favour of Namjoon.

After about 5 minutes, Do-guk re-entered the room calling Jungkook out. He followed him to his study without any objection.
"Sit down." The elder pointed at the chair across his and put on his reading glasses before logging in to his laptop kept on the table.
Some tapping sounds could be heard but Jungkook tried to maintain his over consciousness instincts right now.

"It's found that Lee Kun-woo donated a huge chunk of his net worth to some old age home just within two years of his business venture. Considering the contemporary market and his assets, it was almost 20 percent of his wealth. Apart from this, he has never donated in this excessive amount. Digging deep into the pile of mysteries, it's found that the old age home was actually abolished within a year of Kun-woo's donation and the people living there were relocated to a different home. Strangely, the abolished site was later purchased by Kun-woo himself even though no concrete paperwork is found."

"You mean Kun-woo didn't donate anything. He purchased the property?"
"Seems so, Jeon. One of the many factories of him is situated on the exact same location. Anyway, I believe it was a good business deal with the people owning the old age home. What is more surprising is that there were two more people residing in that home who used to work as caretakers of the home. From the local people, those two were siblings who didn't get relocated to the new home. No one knows what happened to them and there's no picture found. The old age home administration was not strong, so written documents and records are lacking here."

Via several trial and error methods, both Do-guk and Jungkook came into the conclusion that Kun-woo's past is somehow the key to this case and the hand of someone powerful behind Bin's sudden change of behaviour. While Namjoon was sleeping, Sung-ho texted few information from which Bin's fear of being caught was evident.

"There seems to be a lot of things, sir. The way inspector Won is handling the case it feels like there is some personal interest. But we need to talk to Namjoon on few things too." Jungkook wanted to be transparent to Do-guk who had every right to know about everything that would help in his son's case.

"I fell in love with him about a year ago, Do-hyun. He was nothing but respectful to me. He saved me from the hell hole and gave you a new life too."
Byeol broke down in the man's arms who kept consoling her.
"I know, noona. I guess you got a little late." Equal mourning was dripping of Do-hyun's voice.
"It was all my fault. I love 'baby' but I don't think I was loved back. It was always about Kun-woo's money, his business. I tried to give everything to make everyone happy but still all the bad things happened!"

"I have immense faith on god, noona. Justice will be served."
