                                Aurora's Pov

I woke up with the biggest headache ever. I don't even remember what happened yesterday, it's all blurry to me. The only thing I remember is someone helped me with my cuts and bruises. It must've been Aaron since he was the only one who knew, and Kenji had tasks to do.

I walk to the bathroom to take some medicine and wash my face.

When I come back out Aaron is sitting on the bed looking at me with worried eyes.

"You didn't come to my room yesterday." He says.

I look at him confused. "Didn't you come here yesterday?"

"No? I was in my office the whole evening."

"Then who helped me?"

"Aurora what are you talking about?" He says, genuinely concerned.

"Anderson definitely drugged me and the only thing I remember was that someone helped me clean up all my cuts and bruises after."

"Are you sure you didn't do it yourself?"

"God no I was too out of it to even talk."

"Well I hope you're okay." He says.

I shrug, try to smile. "It could've been worse."

We stay silent a few minutes, I'm in my own world trying to figure out who helped me. But he then says he'll be back later and walks out of my room.

I'm in the soldier dormitories to check for any contraband that they might have or any other problems.

I then see Kenji rushing over to me.

"We need to talk." He says with a firm voice.

"Okay? About what?" I look at him.

Is it about what happened last night?
Did anyone see me?

"In private, right now."

I know where this is going.

"Come with me." I say and start heading towards my office.

Once we get there he sits down immediately and asks. "What the hell happened to you last night?"

Damn, he must've been the one who helped me. But how? He had loads of tasks to do.

"What?" Is all I can get out right now.

"Yesterday." He leans forward. "I found you in your bathroom half dead with barely any blood left in your system. So you wanna tell me what's going on?"

"Didn't you have loads of tasks to do? Why were you even there in the first place?"

I can't tell him. If Anderson even finds the tiniest of evidence that I have said anything to anyone he will do something to the people I love.

The thought of Junie or Aaron being hurt makes me physically cringe.

"Aurora, tell me what happened." He says, his voice more gentle than before.

Kenji is staring at me intently waiting for an answer.

"I can't." I whisper.

"What? What do you mean." He's still staring.

I sigh frustrated and get up. "Follow me."

I walk to one of the storage closets where I know there are no cameras outside or inside of it and pull him in.
