"Okay, so, I study, you clean up, and then we can head out! It's a plan." Mia says as we walk home, coming back from school.

"Why do you just assume I won't study? Maybe I want to feel educational." I philosophize, mocking them.

I earn a raised eyebrows from both my little sister and my cousin. It's so fun not having to study. I love my brain, it's literally the only gift God ever gave me.

I just need to be rich now and everything'll work out.

I see Aya rolling her eyes. She may be ten, but she mocks and judges everyone all the time. I raised her very well.

"Shut up." Mia spits. "Where do you wanna go at night? Swiss butter?" She goes back to her initial question.

"We went last week." I point out. We basically live at that restaurant now. I can't really blame us since their sauce is so good, but we gotta change at least once in a while.

"Fine. Roadster?" She suggests.

I can't even agree before I get interrupted. "I wanna go!" Aya charms in, jumping.

"Sorry love, tomorrow night, promise. We're going out with friends." Mia tells her and I squeeze her hand tighter, excusing ourselves.

I'd honestly much rather go with Aya, those other people are Mia's friends, I'm always left out. None of them like me and I don't like them either. Mia wants us to at least be able to tolerate each other, but I'm sorry if I can't be nice around dumb people who only care about boys and make up.

There actually is more to life, than stupid boys. And let's not forget why they really hate me, because I'm younger than them yet have double all their IQ's combined.

Jealousy kills, I guess.

Mia continues talking about our plans and how we could go to the movies after or before dinner while we continue our walk home.

I can't wait until she gets her license, I'm getting tired of walking for twenty minutes to the sound of cars always honking at each other and men cursing and yelling at each other.

Today's quite a quiet day though. Barely any cars honking and passing. So that's good.

"By the way, John's coming." Speaks up again. Really!? John!?

"What!?" I yell at her. "Why!?"

"He's still my friend, Liv." Now, the reason I hate John is simply because we started talking for a while and I thought things were going good. Really good.

Until I found out the son of a bitch doesn't even want me, he just wanted to fuck with me while fucking other people at the same time.

Anyway, I'm over that son of a bitch, I didn't even like him that much and it was never that serious but I hate what he did. And so I hate him.

"Yeah, your friend who's a complete ass!" I answer, frustrated, trying not to take it out on the little girl whose hand I'm holding a little too tightly now.
