❝ look at us, you and i. ❞
⇄ ◃◃ ⅠⅠ ▹▹ ↻"What am I supposed to wear?" Pedri asks me as we get ready to go have dinner with the family on the beach. We just got to the beach house and are in our room for the night, getting ready.
As I choose my clothes, I answer him. "Anything casual, Pep. It's not that big of a deal, we're just going to eat some food and talk all night while the beach sits on our left."
"Okay then." He picks any shorts with a blue top, and gets changed. I've chosen a crop top with white linen pants.
The striped bandeau top is summer perfect, adding a playful pop of color that contrasts nicely with the simple, crisp white pants I've chosen.
Plus, I choose my slide sandals that are just right for slipping on and off with ease for more comfort and they're really cute, completing the beach-y outfit.
I get changed, ignoring the feeling of the boy's stare on me as I undress in the same room as him. Once done with the outfit, I get seated on the desk in the room with the tiniest mirror.
I open my toiletry bag and start with doing my make up and fixing up my hair. Pedri, who just had to put on a shirt, shorts and his shoes is on the bed waiting for me.
I finish just in time, it's 9:18 pm. Mom told us to be there at nine thirty so we can comfortably walk to the restaurant with no worrying of being too late.
I take a small straw tote bag and put all my stuff in. My three phones, my mini make up bag, my inhaler, my wallet, a pair of sunglasses even though it's nighttime and it's just for fashion, a hair clip, my AirPods, my power bank just in case, a gum pack, and finally the keys for the house.
Once all ready, I look at myself in the mirror, spinning around and watching my pretty self in her pretty clothes. It's just missing something.
I take the brown sunglasses out of the bag and place them over my head, completing the last touch of the look.
I clear my throat. "Let's go, Pedri boy, I'm ready." I call out to him. He immediately listens and stands up, placing his phone in his pocket.
I make my way out the door and he follows behind. Everyone already left, so we're the only ones left behind.
I lock the door behind us, after screaming everyone's names just to be sure no one's still here and then get blamed for forgetting them.
I turn and face Pedri who's looking at me with widen eyes. Okay, maybe I did yell a little too loud but he's already used to it, why's he acting so dramatic?
"So you just yell at all times?" He asks when I take his hand to start our walk to the restaurant which should be about ten minutes maximum.
I sigh, chuckling at the same time. "Shut up." I simply say as we go down the alley way which leads to the public road where everyone would be.
"You got your sunglasses?" I ask him. I know it's night but less publicity and getting recognized. Of course, we would still get recognized but less people would recognize us instantly and would come up to us.
Of course, it's a PR bonus, but I'm with my family for the week. I just want to enjoy them for now. Besides, there's bound to be some pictures of us on the internet later in the week.
