Kaori Pov

"Sasuke. I'm at point B."

"Sakura. I'm at point C."

"Naruto. I'm at point A. Believe it."

"Kaori. I'm in position."

"Okay, go slowly Naruto. Team 7, the target has moved, follow it!" I knew that this mission was for the cat Tora, but chasing after her I felt like a... well like a ninja.

I was also pumped since I knew that we would be getting an actual mission today. I smirked and saw Naruto pounce on Tora and get scratched up. I went up to her and started to pet her and calm her down. Soon she was in my arms and purring. I knew Sasuke secretly loved cats so I jokingly walked up next to him.

"You wanna pet her Duckbutt?" I asked with an amused smile.

"Hn." He replied, of course I expected that. But what I didn't expect was him putting out his hand and start to slowly stroke Tora. I was honestly shocked. But was freaked me out even more was the small smile on his face while he did it. "You act all emotionless but you're really a big softy aren't you Sasuke?" I asked with a smirk and a wink. My favorite pass time was getting under his emo skin. I knew his story, but he should still pull his head out of his ass. I'd suffered the same things as him. He glared at me then crossed his arms and glared in front of him.

"Well o-kay then."

I was busy zoning out and thinking about my favorite cloud watching hill when I was suddenly interrupted by the sound of a screaming Naruto.

"Nooooo!" I looked over and saw Naruto cross his arms into an X.

"I wanna go on a real mission! Something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff! Come on old man!" I wonder why Naruto yells everything...Probably because he craves attention. Personally, I'd pay him more attention if he talked at normal volume. I sighed. Then everyone went off about being greatful and Ninja and Mission ranks. Blah blah blah. I stared on boredly until I heard a chuckle coming from the third.

"So Naruto wants us to know that he's not a brat, but a former brat and he wants a real mission. So be it. Since you're so determined I'm going to give you a C-ranked mission. You'll be bodyguards on a journey." Everyone looked shocked that he listened to Naruto's request, especially Kakahi and Iruka. Me? I just smirked and nodded.

"Really?! Yeah! Who are we guarding? A princess, a business councilor?!" Naruto was back to yelling again. Joy.

"Don't be so impatient. Send him in now!" The Hokage yelled out to the hallway. And in wafted the smell of alcohol. My smirk turned into an actual smile as Tazuna the drunk walked in.

"Eh? A bunch of snot nosed kids? And you the little one with the idiotic look on his face, you really expect me to believe you're a ninja?" I knew he was talking about Naruto, but looking around the height thing was obvious. It went Sasuke, Sakura, Me, then Naruto. So naturally Naruto was the "little one".
