Kaori PoV
We were standing around trying to decide what our first move would be when Naruto started complaining about how he had to take a piss. It was a pretty unnecessary thing to say considering the fact he could have just left and done it, but Sakura way overreacted by yelling at him.
"Sakura, you really shouldn't yell, even if it's at Naruto. You might alert the other teams to our location." I said boredly. Sakura covered her mouth and looked at me with wide eyes.
"Sorry." She whispered. That's when Naruto came out smiling and talking about how he peed so much he could write his entire name. I narrowed my eyes at him.
Sasuke flashed in front of 'Naruto' and kicked him in the face and into a tree.
"I appreciate the chivalry and all Sasuke, but wasn't that a little overboard?" Sakura said obliviously. Sasuke kept attacking.
"Watch out Sakura, I think he's gone crazy!" The Naruto wannabe said.
"Hmph. You wish. I just attacked before you could." Sasuke said, continuing the attack.
"He's right Sakura. Look, Naruto is right handed but his shuriken holster is on his left leg. It isn't Naruto, it's an enemy." I said, holding Sakura back and closely watching the battle.
"That's right. He also doesn't have the cut on his cheek from before the exam!" Sasuke shouted at me. That's right. I had totally missed that one. Damn it. Well, at least I didn't look as bad as Sakura.
"Your transformation skills are even worse than Naruto's! Tell me who you are!" Sasuke yelled at him. There was a poof of smoke and a really sketchy looking guy with a gas mask and goggles appeared.
"you've seen through my disguise. You're very clever. I'm still gonna take your scroll. So hand it over, or else." The sketchy ninja said. Sakura got a kunai and I pulled out my katana and got in an attack position. I remembered from the anime that he was alone so I wasn't that worried about fighting him. Besides, the guy is totally weak and not to mention stupid for trying to take us on by himself.
"Sakura, this guy is alone. His team is nowhere close to us so just let Sasuke deal with this." I relaxed and resheathed my katana.
"How do you know that?" Sakura looked at me.
"Well, either they aren't here or they're ridiculously good at hiding their chakra signatures. And if that's the case we're totally screwed 'cause they'd have to be super powerful in order to do that." I started whistling and waited for Sasuke to finish up. Finally the other ninja retreated and Sasuke walked up next to us with a smirk.
"Hmph. Took you long enough." I smirked back at him and winked.
"Next time you fight alone Kaori and see how long it takes you."
"Sounds fun. I might just do that." I crossed my arms.
"Hey guys, shouldn't we stop flirting and try finding Naruto instead?" Sakura said with only a hint of malice. I mean, she had a point at least. A rare thing for Sakura. We split up looking for Naruto and sure enough Sasuke found him tied up in the bushes. He is such a dunce. We untied him and all sat on the ground in silence until Naruto's stomach grumbled.
"Here, I brought us all some food. I guess we can boil some water for Naruto's ramen since it's dark but we still run the risk of enemies finding us." Naruto's eyes lit up at the word 'ramen and Sasuke made a grunt like noise.
