The weeks following the showcase passed in a blur. Between grueling dance practices, rigorous vocal lessons, and promotional commitments with BLACKPINK, you barely had time to think, let alone see Rosé. But her words of encouragement and pride in your performance echoed constantly in your mind, giving you the strength to push on.
Your hard work paid off when the company executives called you in for a meeting.
"We're impressed with your growth and were very moved by your showcase performance," they said. "We'd like to offer you a trainee contract."
You could hardly believe it. All your years of training were finally paying off. With a trainee contract came increased opportunities, resources, and the chance to officially debut someday. You eagerly accepted, bowing in gratitude to the executives.
As you left the meeting floating on cloud nine, you pulled out your phone to share the good news with Rosé. But to your dismay, her inbox was full, and she hadn't been responding to messages lately. BLACKPINK's overseas promotions must be keeping her overwhelmingly busy.
You tried not to feel hurt by her absence. Rosé had supported you selflessly so far; you could give her space when needed. Still, a small part of you longed for the comfort of her celebratory hug and congratulatory words. You hoped she would be proud of your progress when you finally spoke again.

Weeks blurred into months with no word from Rosé. Between your new training commitments and BLACKPINK's hectic schedule, opportunities to meet never seemed to align. You missed her lively presence during breaks, finding the practice rooms lacking their usual light and laughter without her.
Your debut grew closer with each passing day, yet you still hadn't been able to thank Rosé properly for everything she did in your early trainee years. You hoped fate would allow you a chance to express your gratitude before your careers diverged for good.
Finally, one late night after a particularly draining round of vocal lessons, you got the call.
"Rosé is back and asked for you," your manager relayed. "She's waiting in the trainee lounge."
Your heart leapt. Barely containing your excitement, you hurried down the hall, skidding to a halt in the doorway. There she sat by the window, her blonde hair glowing softly in the moonlight. Your breath caught at the wistful beauty of the sight.
Rosé looked up with a tired smile. "Hey stranger. Long time no see."
Overwhelmed with joy, you swiftly closed the distance and wrapped her in a tight hug. She melted into your embrace with a content sigh, holding you close for several long moments. You never wanted to let go.
Pulling back reluctantly, you kept your hands on her shoulders, drinking in every detail of her face you had missed so dearly.
"I'm so glad you're back. I missed you."
Rosé's eyes traced your face in return, as if memorizing all that had changed. "I missed you too. I'm sorry I've been out of touch. Promotions got crazy. But I wanted to be the first to congratulate you officially." Her grin widened. "You've made trainee, Y/N! I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished."
Warmth unfurled in your chest at her praise. "I couldn't have done it without your constant support and inspiration. You were with me every step of the way in spirit."
Her gaze softened. "And I'll continue to support you however I can. Your debut is right around the corner now, but even when our careers take different paths, know that you'll always have me rooting for you."
