You were sitting on a bench in Central Park, New York, enjoying the autumn breeze while sketching the scenery before you. Having recently moved from your home country for work, you found solace in these quiet moments. The fallen leaves created a canvas of orange and red hues around you, and the cool air made you pull your jacket closer.

"Oh no!" A soft voice exclaimed as papers scattered around your feet.

Looking up, you saw a girl with long blonde hair frantically trying to gather her sheet music that had been caught by the wind.

Without hesitation, you jumped up to help. "Let me help you with that," you said, quickly collecting the papers near you.

"Thank you so much," she replied with an Australian accent, her cheeks slightly pink from the cold—or perhaps embarrassment.

As you handed her the papers, your eyes met, and you found yourself staring into the warmest dark brown eyes you'd ever seen.

"I'm Y/N," you introduced yourself, trying to keep your voice steady despite your sudden nervousness.

"I'm Roseanne, but you can call me Rosie," she smiled, and your heart skipped a beat. "Thanks again for helping me."

"Are you a musician?" you asked, noticing the musical notes on the papers.

She hesitated for a moment before answering, "Yeah, I love music. I was just practicing some new pieces."

"That's cool! I'd love to hear you play sometime," you said, then immediately felt embarrassed at your forwardness.

But Rosie just laughed, the sound melodious and genuine. "Maybe someday. What brings you to the park?"

You showed her your sketchbook. "I like to draw when I have free time. I just moved here for work, so I'm still exploring the city."

"Oh, you're an artist! May I?" she gestured to your sketchbook.

You handed it to her, watching as she carefully flipped through the pages. Her eyes lit up with each turn, and you couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked when she was excited.

"These are amazing! You're really talented, Y/N," she exclaimed, making you blush.

"Thanks, it's just a hobby really."

A gust of wind blew through the park, making Rosie shiver slightly.

"Would you like to grab some coffee?" you found yourself asking before you could think twice. "There's a nice café just around the corner."

She checked her phone, seeming to contemplate something before responding, "I'd love to."

The café was cozy and warm, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. You both ordered hot chocolates and found a quiet corner to sit.

"So, where are you from?" Rosie asked, wrapping her hands around her mug.

You told her about your home country and your decision to move to New York. She listened intently, asking questions and sharing her own experiences of living in different places.

"I actually grew up in Melbourne," she said, "but I've been living in Seoul for quite a while now."

"Seoul? That must be exciting," you replied, curious about what took her there but not wanting to pry.

Hours passed as you talked about everything and nothing. You learned that she loved photography, could play multiple instruments, and had a special love for food. In turn, you shared stories about your family, your art, and your dreams.
