Poisonous Beauty

It was a sunny day outside as our heroes were running away from something, when Dally suddenly turned to Y/N, feeling nervous.

Dally: Hey, y/n?

Y/N, looking at him and holding Yugo's hand while running: hm?

Dally: I-I'm...sorry for getting you hurt during our time in the puddly village. I-I didn't mean to hurt you.

Y/N blinks in surprise, before smiling.

Y/N: Don't worry about it Dally. It was an accident....besides, I've already forgiven you! I know you were just trying to help them out!

Dally, perking up: You forgive me, really?

Y/N, nodding: yup! I don't like to hold grudges, so I won't hold one against you! Besides, it really was an accident!

Dally relaxes and smiles, patting your hat, causing you to smile at him. Yugo smiles softly and gently squeezes your hand, causing you to squeeze back. The heroes are still running as Eva speaks.

Eva: Your Enutrof instincts are really getting out of hand, Ruel!

Ruel: How was I to know these horrible knickknacks belonged to them?!

The group keeps running as volleys of arrows are fired at them. Some arrows almost hit Amalia, but her dolls got infront of her and takes the hits, allowing Amalia to run back to the group safely.

Ruel: Looks like they like useless junk more than I do!

Eva: Next time, you should asl before you take something!

Y/N: She has a point Ruel!

The group running, going onto a bridge with seemingly innocent roses on them. Their pursuers suddenly stop, looking down at them from the top of the hill.

Eva: Why have they stopped following us?

They keep running, before Amalia suddenly shouts.

Amalia: Stop! Do not move a muscle!

The group stops in surprise and looks at Amalia, eyes wide.

Y/N: Amalia? What's wrong?

Amalia: It's a Demonic Rose patch! Don't let them close in! One bite and you'll go crazy for sure...OR worse...you'll die!

The group looks around in nervousness, hearing the roses start to awaken. The roses suddenly hop up and rush towards the group, but Dally cuts some down with his sword. Y/N gets her daggers out and cuts down some roses as well. Ruel strikes the ground with his shovel, causing energy to come up from the ground and blast some roses away. The group races for the tree bridge, when Y/N notices that Amalia is lagging behind and a red rose is about to bite her.

Y/N: Amalia! Watch out!

Y/N portals to Amalia and shoves her out of the way, taking the bite for themselves and collapsing. Amalia gasps in shock.

Amalia: y/n!

The group turns around and sees Y/N laying on the ground with Amalia trying to shake them awake. Their eyes widen in horror. Eva draws an ice arrow and shoots it at the roses, freezing them.

Yugo: Y/N!

Yugo makes a portal and Amalia picks Y/N up, quickly going through it as Eva destroys the tree bridge with an arrow. Once on the other side, Amalia sets Y/N on the ground gently, tears in her eyes. Yugo rushes to Y/N and picks them up slightly, hugging them close to his chest as he cries.

Yugo: Y/n...please wake up...please...I need you to wake up...

Eva: The flower that bit her...what color was it?
